# Understanding Revelation Chapter 13 and End-Time Prophecies with Pastor Arnold Murray πŸ™πŸ“–

## Summary πŸ“

In this detailed Bible study, Pastor Arnold Murray presents a comprehensive chapter-by-chapter, verse-by-verse exposition of Revelation Chapter 13, focusing on the symbolism and prophetic revelations concerning the end times, the Antichrist, and the coming deception of a One World government. He emphasizes that the book of Revelation is meant to be understood by all believers, rejecting the idea that it is meant only for select scholars. Pastor Murray decodes the symbolic imagery of the Beast, explaining it as a multi-headed world government empowered by Satan. He clarifies common misunderstandings about the Antichrist, the "man of sin," and the mark of the beast, underscoring the spiritual nature of the coming deception and warning believers to be vigilant and discerning. ⚠️πŸ‘€

The lesson also covers related scriptures such as 2 Thessalonians 2 and Mark 13, which further explain the timing and nature of the end-time events, including the false claims of divinity by the Antichrist. Pastor Murray stresses the believer's power through Christ to resist Satan's temptations and the importance of holding onto the truth of God's Word to avoid deception. He addresses common questions from viewers, touching on topics like church attendance, spiritual resurrection, and the meaning behind Biblical names and passages. πŸ’ͺ✝️

Throughout the study, the focus remains on equipping believers with spiritual discernment and reassurance rooted in Biblical prophecy, encouraging steadfastness while navigating the end-time trials. πŸ›‘️πŸ”₯

## Key Insights πŸ’‘

- **[00:01:40]** 🦁 **Beast's Symbolism and Governmental Nature:** The Beast with seven heads and ten horns represents a governing system, specifically a one world government system. The imagery is symbolic rather than literal, where "waters" represent people and nations (see Revelation 17:15), stressing that this system dominates all peoples globally. The ten horns are fallen angels that represent powerful spiritual rulers behind this government, highlighting the spiritual warfare dimension of global governance. πŸŒπŸ‘Ώ

- **[00:05:29]** ⏳ **Limited Authority and Timeframe of the Beast:** The Beast's power is granted for "forty and two months" (42 months = 3.5 years, or 42 lunar months), a period linked to the reign of evil during the end times, emphasizing the temporary and controlled nature of Satan's authority. This chronology aligns with Biblical prophecy indicating the precise timing of the Antichrist's activities and the subsequent return of Christ. ⏰πŸ“…

- **[00:11:31]** πŸ“œ **Antichrist and Man of Sin Explained in 2 Thessalonians:** The "man of sin" refers to Satan himself, revealed prior to Christ's return and associated with a great apostasy ("falling away"). This counters popular rapture theology by emphasizing visible end-time events and spiritual deception rather than secret removal of the church, urging believers to be ready and not be deceived by false teachings about the timeline. 🚨⚠️

- **[00:13:29]** ⚔️ **Michael's Role as Divine Restrainer:** Michael the Archangel is portrayed as the figure who restrains Satan's direct revelation until the divine time for the Antichrist to be manifested. This points to a divine timetable governing Satan's permitted influence, offering believers assurance that evil is limited by God's sovereign control. πŸ‘ΌπŸ›‘️

- **[00:22:26]** πŸ‘Ή **The Second Beast (False Prophet) as Religious Deceiver:** Differentiated from the first Beast (world government), the second Beast represents a religious figure who mimics Christ in appearance but deceives the world by controlling global worship and enforcing submission to the first Beast (the one world system). The horns symbolize delegated authority, but this power is false and does not extend over God's elect. πŸŽπŸ™Œ

- **[00:28:32]** πŸ”₯ **Miraculous Deception Through Signs and Wonders:** The False Prophet performs "great wonders," including making fire come down from heaven, to deceive people into worshiping the Beast. This unveils the spiritual and supernatural aspect of the end-time deception, warning believers against taking these signs at face value without spiritual discernment. ⚡πŸ‘️

- **[00:30:43]** 🧠 **True Nature of the Mark of the Beast:** Contrary to popular speculation about physical marks or microchips, the mark is identified as a spiritual deception—accepting the lie that the Antichrist is Christ, represented figuratively as a mark on the brain (forehead) or hand (actions). This underscores that the real issue is allegiance and belief, not physical implantation, and therefore vigilance must focus on truth versus deception. 🧩❓

- **[00:36:10]** πŸ™ **Pastoral Guidance on Discerning Fellowship:** Pastor Murray advises that individual conviction and God's guidance should determine church attendance even if some doctrinal errors exist, emphasizing unity in love and planting seeds when possible. This practical counsel highlights the balance between doctrinal purity and Christian love in community life. 🀝❤️

- **[00:44:57]** ✝️ **Purpose of Christ's Crucifixion:** The crucifixion is explained as the ultimate act of love and victory over Satan and death, not a random tragedy. Christ's sacrifice enables the destruction of Satan's power and offers forgiveness and salvation for believers, reinforcing the love and justice of God even amid suffering. πŸ’”➡️❤️

- **[00:52:49]** πŸ“– **Location of the Ark of the Covenant:** The Ark has been taken back to heaven as the mercy seat, where Christ now sits at the right hand of God, asserting divine protection and sovereignty over God's covenant rather than its physical presence on earth, detaching it from conspiracy theories about hidden artifacts. πŸ›️πŸ‘‘

- **[00:56:14]** πŸ”„ **First and Second Resurrection Distinction:** The first resurrection involves the overcomers rising in spiritual bodies before the Millennium, while the second resurrection occurs after the Millennium, with the final judgment of the wicked, clarifying eschatological timelines consistent with Revelation 20. πŸŒ…⚖️

## Conclusion πŸŒ…πŸ™Œ

Pastor Arnold Murray's study of Revelation 13 deeply underscores the spiritual dynamics and prophetic realities behind the end-times global scenario involving the Beast, the False Prophet, and the Antichrist. By interpreting Biblical symbolism with clarity, he helps believers to discern truth from deception and to stand firm in faith. This teaching calls Christians to be thoroughly grounded in Scripture, to embrace the power God gives over evil, and to resist any attempt to be hoodwinked by the grand spiritual deception of the last days. The emphasis on spiritual discernment, patience, faith, and love for God's truth serves as an urgent and uplifting message for believers navigating contemporary spiritual challenges. πŸ“–πŸ’ͺπŸ™✨

*"Behold, I have told you everything beforehand."* — Mark 13:23 πŸ•Š️

---

Good day, may God bless you. Welcome to the Shepherd’s Chapel, and thanks for joining our family Bible study. Are you ready to dive back into our Father’s Word?

**Revelation, Chapter 13, Verse 1.** Let’s get right into it. We ask the Father for wisdom and understanding of the Scriptures. Never, ever let anyone tell you that you shouldn’t understand Revelation. Whatever you call it – Apocalypse, Revelation – it all means an unveiling, a revelation, so it’s meant to be known, and you need to know it. No one has the right to take that away from you by saying it doesn’t concern you.

You know, I seriously doubt anyone would tell a person they don’t need to know God’s word, especially since God Himself wrote it—definitely not you. If that were the case, anyone could fool you. So remember, you need to understand Revelation 13:1. Let’s read it: *“And I stood on the sand by the sea, and saw a beast rising out of the sea, with seven heads and ten horns, and on its horns were ten crowns, and on its heads was a name...”*

Now listen, God isn’t dealing with some ugly multi-headed monsters. What does that mean? He uses symbols. It means we’re talking about government — many-headed, like all governments. This is what they call the one world system of control. And what is it built on? Water. And I want you to remember Revelation 17:1 and 15 — I repeat, 17:15. Water always means people, the nations, all together. So what do we have here? We have sister Babylon, who rules over the peoples.

Deceiving everyone she could, everyone who listened to her, everyone who followed the false Messiah. I mean, she’s on a pedestal right now, untouchable, you don’t want to mess with that. There’ll be ten crowns on ten kings, but you’ve got to understand — these aren’t ordinary earthly kings. These are ten kings led by the Antichrist; they’re not human but angelic beings, fallen angels, and they’re the ones who’ll wear those crowns. They’re really cunning, so you’ve got to stay strong and keep your focus on God.

A word or you might get tricked, so Jesus says in Mark 13: *"Hey, when people say the Antichrist has come, even if they say he’s out in the desert or somewhere else, don’t buy it, because until the seventh trumpet sounds and Christ really comes, don’t trust those people."* Then He says something important: *"Look, I told you all this ahead of time."* Have you read it? That’s the whole point, it’s written for you. Have you read it? And in verse 2, it says: *"And the beast I saw was kind of like a leopard."*

Places always change. There were Kenites there, and his legs were like a bear’s—the old Bear Nation up north. That’s Esau and his crowd, the Red Nation, and his mouth is like a lion’s; you'd think it’s Judas talking, but no. And the dragon, Satan himself, gave him his power, his throne, and great authority. That’s how it is—Satan rules in heaven right now, it’s his hour, but only if you let him, you get me?

It really bums me out when I hear people say, *"Man, Satan is seriously messing with me."* But in the Gospel of Luke, chapter 10, verse 19, Christ gave you authority over all enemies, including Satan. So why are you putting up with it? Do you actually like it? You don’t have to put up with that! God gave you that power through Him, through His name, so you can push all that stuff away. So don’t pay any attention to the power that the negative side has, even in these last days. Verse 3 says, *"And I saw one of his heads..."*

It’s like he was fatally wounded, but then his deadly wound healed, and the whole world was amazed by the beast. Now you get why every time a top leader is killed or dies, people always ask, “Was that the fatal wound?” Don’t you see? So who is this many-headed monster? It’s the government system, the idea of one world order. How does this one-world idea get a fatal wound? When certain people rise up, reject the government system, and break away from it.

Nations are outside of this whole deal, and it's delivering a fatal blow to the One World System — one money, one people. Basically, this won't happen until Satan comes, then he'll sort everything out. Verse four — what’s going on? They started worshipping when he set it all up, and they worshipped the dragon. Who’s the dragon? If you remember, in chapter 12, it says the Great Dragon was defeated, that old serpent called the devil and Satan. He plays a bunch of roles, and you should never...

Don’t let anyone convince you that Satan gave power to the beast, meaning the One World System, and that people worshiped this beast—wondering who’s like the beast, who’s like this powerful unified world system, who can fight against it. But no nations exist outside of it, no one’s fighting it—it’s the unity of the world. And unfortunately, some might say, isn’t socialism great? No, it’s not.

Why not? Because Satan is behind all of this, that’s why. And it was written long before any of it happened. Actually, the wording is already there, it’s starting to stick. Notice — nowadays, they show a lot of signs, and they’re very obvious. Next verse, please. Verse five: *He was given a mouth to speak great things and blasphemy, and he was given the power to act for forty-two months straight.*

Whenever months are mentioned—they’re actually moons—they’re connected to the night and the devil, got it? All of Christ’s prophecies given to His children are given in days, because we’re children of the light, not darkness. So yeah, that’s clearly for Satan. And what’s the blasphemy? Sitting in the place, claiming to be God. The biggest blasphemy is telling people you’re God—that’s unforgivable sacrilege. We were warned about this elsewhere too, of course.

He was sitting there the whole time, claiming he was God, saying he'd show the world that he is God. God, do you remember where that's written? We've talked about it so many times, I don't get how you could forget. 2 Thessalonians, chapter 2, Paul tells you how we'll all gather back to Jesus Christ. How will that happen? Not through some rapture or a letter written by someone, but through the word of God. And many might ask, *"How can we trust Paul's words?"* Well, either...

If you're going to reject Paul's words, then you should reject Peter’s too, because in 2 Peter chapter 3, he gives Paul authority that very few have been given. So, you can totally count on that. In other words, how do we get back to the true Christ? Exactly as it’s written—so clear even a kid can understand. So don’t stress about it, just keep your focus. Chapter 2, verse 1 says, *“We urge you, brothers, about the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.”* And what was the topic? Right—the coming, the return of the Lord Jesus.

Christ and our reunion with Him—well, however it goes—when we meet up with Christ again at His coming. I want to talk to you about the second verse: *so you don’t get confused too quickly, don’t worry or lose hope because of the Spirit, words, or some letter that’s supposedly from us.* So that the first letter we sent to the Thessalonians, chapter 4, where people get the teaching about the Rapture, doesn’t throw you off: *that the day of Christ is near. Don’t let them fool you with that.*

Alright, here’s the third verse: *"Don’t let anyone fool you, because that day won’t come until the rebellion happens first and the man of sin is revealed."* The man of sin—that’s just one person, and that’s Satan. This man of sin is the son of destruction. Destruction means, like, total ruin or death. There’s only one being that God has already sentenced to death by name—in Genesis and Ezekiel, chapter 28, verses 18 and 19—and that’s Satan. So basically, he’s already dead, but he’s still walking around among the living for now.

At the end of the Millennium, verse 4: *who is he, what does he do? He opposes and elevates himself above everything called God or worshiped, so he can sit in God's temple and pretend to be God.* Are you seriously gonna fall for that? If so, I don’t even know what to say, because kids might read this and get it: *“Hey guys, it’s not us; someone fake is coming who calls himself God before Christ comes back.”* You’re not fooling me, kid.

Here’s the deal: the kid won’t be like that because he reads the simple truths written in God’s word, verse five. Remember? No? You know, when I was with you, I talked about this. When we were sitting around the fire, spending the night, we kept going over it again and again. Verse six: *now you know what’s holding him back, so he can come at the right time.* And what does that mean? Well, you know who the *Kenites* are, since you belong to the church of Smyrna or Philadelphia.

Who are the Kenites, claiming to be our brothers from Judah, but lying and actually being the synagogue of Satan, as it says in Revelation, chapter 2, verse 3, and chapter 3, verses 9 and 10? *The mystery of lawlessness is already at work—it’s happening right now—but the one who is holding it back will keep doing so until they’re taken out of the way.* Here, the verb is transitive, meaning the meaning is straightforward—it refers back to who we’re talking about, and that’s Satan.

He's standing in the Holy Place, pretending to be God, and this will go on until the one holding him back stops doing so. Remember in Revelation, chapter 12—what does it say there? Verses 7 and 8 talk about that old Dragon... I just mentioned it—Satan. Michael throws him out of heaven along with all his fallen angels. *Woe to you on Earth when he starts acting like God.* Don’t fall for it; the Word of God keeps warning you not to be deceived. So, it’s Michael who’s holding him back.

This is Michael, the one who will lead you to the answer. Some people might say, *"But this is about the church, there’s no article, don’t add anything extra to God’s Word, just take it as it is."* The topic here is Satan, verse 8: *"And then the wicked one will be revealed, whom the Lord will consume with the breath of His mouth and destroy with the brightness of His coming."* What comes out of Christ’s mouth is a double-edged sword that cuts both ways—truth cuts deep, and truth always wins. That’s why you should respect...

Keep this truth, hold on to it, carry it with you. But the main one who comes after acts with the power of Satan. Satan gives the Antichrist his authority—it’s all the same thing: that power, the signs, and the fake miracles. It’s all very deceptive. If you look into the Book of Revelation, it says he’ll snap his fingers—and lightning will strike from heaven. A lot of people will be amazed by that. And also: *with all the lies and lawlessness, they deceive those who are doomed because they didn’t accept love...*

Who wouldn't want to accept the love of truth from Almighty God, who gave His only Son on the cross so we could be forgiven for all our sins? But some people just don't want that. Verse 11 says, *"That's why God will send them a powerful delusion so they believe the lie."* If you want to be fooled, if you want to be tricked by Satan himself—no problem, God will let it happen. He doesn't like it, He’s jealous, He wants you for Himself.

A pure bride, spiritually speaking, and he doesn’t want you to be taken off to the side by some other lovers—especially the dragon, especially the Antichrist. Verse 12 says that *everyone who doesn't believe in the truth and enjoys lawlessness will be cursed.* I hope you never take pleasure in lawlessness because it doesn’t last, and Satan is like a walking dead man—he can’t give you real life, even though he promises to pay all your bills. He comes with “prosperity” and “peace,” and he shows you that.

A one-world government so there’s never war again. The real war is a spiritual battle—a fight between Almighty God and the Dragon. People will get caught up in it without even meaning to, if they’re not careful. Watch out that it doesn’t go too far. If it’s hard to understand, check out 2 Thessalonians, chapter 2. Let a kid who just learned to read read it to you and explain, because if you drop all the old biases from different denominations, the understanding will settle in your mind like honey on your kidneys, and you...

See the simplicity of the truth about the Almighty God returning—now let’s go back to chapter 13 of the Great Book of Revelation, starting with verse 7: *"He was given power to wage war against the saints, that is, God’s chosen ones, and to defeat them, to hand them over."* He’s been given authority over every nation, tribe, and language. This is basically what they call "one world," one world order. But there’s one thing he can’t take away from you—your faith in the Almighty God. He can force you to be betrayed, but that’s not the end.

His plan is God’s plan, got it? How do you know that? In the Gospel of Mark, chapter 13, it says: *you’ll be handed over to the synagogues of Satan, and at that moment of trial, you won’t have to think ahead about what to say—you’ll say what I give you.* That moment... What moment? The moment of trial. Because it won’t be you speaking, but the Holy Spirit speaking through you. That’s destiny, that’s the time to live! Right now, with all this happening right before our eyes, what an amazing time to be alive!

Eight will continue, and *everyone living on Earth will worship him.* Wait a minute, *all whose names aren’t written in the Lamb’s Book of Life*—from the foundation of the world, God chose His own, as it says in Ephesians 1:4, even before the world began and before Satan’s fall. So who can God trust? That’s why He chose you from the chosen—He knows you’ll handle it, that you believe in Him, that you love Him, and He’ll use you. What an honor and what true love from our Father!

I’d love you as much as I want. I don’t want you to just skim through this poem and get stuck on the idea that a lot of people don’t hear the truth. The poem says that everyone who wasn’t chosen from the start will worship him—he’s that good. But he’s a master of deception, a pro at selling peaceful, gentle deals that people are ready to accept. In reality, though, everything’s being set up for war—with bloodshed and terrible atomic weapons.

It’s not what you think—there won’t be a nuclear war, but a spiritual war, the worst kind of all, aimed at stealing the hearts and minds of Christians everywhere, people from all nations, to lead them off the right path and deceive them. So don’t underestimate his power over non-believers. A non-believer is someone who doesn’t understand what a liar really is. The first verse says, *“If anyone has ears, let them hear.”* Do you have ears to hear? Can you hear God’s simple truth? Verse 10 says, *“The one who leads into…”*

*Captivity stays captivity, and anyone who kills with the sword will be killed by the sword. That’s where the patience and faith of the saints come in.* There’s a lot of fate in this—who do you really serve? Honestly, I didn’t even know I served anyone. It’s better to serve the Almighty God—that’s true love. And if you live by the sword, then what sword is it? The sword of the Lord, remember in Revelation 1:15-16? That sword is His tongue, His word.

Truth is a powerful, really powerful weapon because it works both ways. Lies can't stand up to it—they'll crumble. So don’t be a captive of Almighty God, don’t be a captive of Satan. Many will be, but you won’t, because you’re a lawyer, a loyal soldier serving the Almighty God. Verse 11. This is exactly about that global political system, so be very careful, because the biggest deceiver is at work here. Verse 11: *and I saw another Beast—that is, another living creature coming out of the earth.*

He was here, and he had two horns like a lamb, looked like Jesus Christ—well, more like the lamb that was slain. When you look at him, you think—this is the Messiah, you think—Christ. But he talks like a dragon, because he’s Satan, deceiving the whole world. And horns always mean power, so he’s gonna have some kind of power, but he doesn’t listen to me. He has no power over God’s chosen ones, no power over those written in the book of life before the world even began.

This age—no one can take it away from you, and they don’t have the right to either, quite the opposite. Verse 12: *and that one is a religious figure, got it? Not some global political beast, but a very religious beast.* Some call him the false prophet, he’s the Antichrist, which in Greek means “instead of Jesus.” He uses all the power of the first beast, that world government system, and forces the earth and everyone living on it to worship the first beast—that global system itself.

The deadly wound has healed — oh man, that’s something else! There’s no more war, peace is everywhere, everyone’s loving each other, and everyone’s bowing down to the master. But here’s the big problem — the master is Satan. If you bow to Satan, Christ doesn’t want anything to do with you. You’re not fit to be part of Christ’s bride. Don’t fool yourself. And in verse 13, it says *he performs great miracles—not some small tricks, but real, amazing miracles, even calling down fire from heaven to earth right in front of everyone.*

So, guys, in Greek the word *"per"* means lightning-fast — snap your fingers, and bam, lightning strikes right from the sky. Do you think people who don’t know God’s word can handle that? They’ll say, *"Oh, that’s definitely the Lord."* But here’s the problem — it’s not the Lord, it’s the Antichrist. And listen, I want you to take a deep breath and realize this: he’s the biggest deceiver of them all.

I don’t want you to get played. I mean, this guy can really bring the heat — he’ll throw a revival so wild, those old camp meetings will look like child’s play. Okay, maybe that’s not the best comparison, but that’s just how amazing he is. And trust me, those good old camp gatherings happened all over the country, more than once. But nothing compares to what this guy is gonna pull off, got it? That’s why I’m saying: don’t just take everything at face value, stand your ground, and no matter what, don’t let...

Don't doubt it when you see everyone doing it right in front of people—they're doing it out in the open, and it's really convincing, unless you're focused and know who he is and what he's up to. See, this is the moment of temptation—will he be able to fool you, or will you see him for the vile creature he is, as you should, because that's exactly how he treats your people, and you won't stand for it. Verse 14: *and he deceives those who live on the Earth by the miracles he was allowed to perform...*

The beast’s image is basically the global system telling everyone on Earth to make a copy of the beast—the global system that got hit hard but survived. It’s pretty wild. Like, you have to create that image for yourself. You’re probably wondering, “How does this image thing even work?” Well, look at the TV right in front of you—that’s the image. And this image is going to spread all over the world. It’s pretty cool that we can all use the same awesome tech.

To teach the Word of God, which he’ll use to bring what seems like the truth — well, that so-called truth as it appears — but really, it’s a lie. And honestly, so many people will be fooled by it; it’s crazy how easy it is to trick them, right? When you see how some people even testify about small government things we have today, those things just get completely ignored and they’re totally duped by it. Verse 15: *And he had the power to give life to the image of the Beast, so that the image of the Beast could…*

And everyone will speak and act so that those who do not worship the image of the Beast are killed—that is, put to death, meaning the Antichrist. This is where many people get uneasy, because they expect blood and slaughter, but that won’t happen. What role does he play? The Savior. And he will truly play that role of savior. The real Savior doesn't walk around cutting people down, killing no one.

A Savior walks and saves people. But when you read Hebrews, chapter 2, verse 14, you understand: Christ came to earth, died on the cross, gave His life in order to destroy death—and death here means the devil. He defeated the devil, who previously had power over death, to testify to that. And if the word "killed" fits here, it's because if any of God's chosen ones refuse to let the Holy Spirit speak through them at that moment, that's unforgivable.

Unforgivable—this is spiritual death. I don't believe this will happen, because I know God's chosen well—they are not easily fooled. Verse 16 says that both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, receive a mark—and note, not on the right hand, not on themselves, but on their forehead. And what do you have in your forehead? Your brain. This mark is just deception, belief that he is the Christ. That's the essence of the mark of the beast. Even today, if you feel like you're following him—that's his message.

I'm going to take you there. And if you get into his cart, it means you've already received the mark—you wouldn't even notice it, you got it long before he appeared. And if you intend to participate in his One World system, you'll have to accept his lies and his government before you get anything from them. That's why you'll be handed over to be tested, to try to save you—that's exactly why a mother will hand over her daughter to death; death is Satan, because she thinks...

Jesus, my daughter is really good and decent, please, just forgive her, because she thinks you're a fake, and that's how it is. That's the only way a mother can betray her daughter—handing her over to Satan, thinking it's Jesus. *Help my child.* But what times these are! In such moments, the mark on the hand is like helping him, helping to deliver even his own family to him. Let me help you, Jesus, let me. I have an uncle here who says you're a fake—bring him here, he's a good old man.

You know, that's how people hand their own over to this beast—that's how it is. But our mission from the very beginning was to be witnesses, to let the Holy Spirit speak through us. Don't miss the next lecture—we’ll go even deeper into this topic. Mark, you don't want to be deceived in this generation, so don't miss it. Alright, take care. Len, take a moment, please. *The Mark of the Beast* on DVD is our free introductory offer for you.

The Mark of the Beast is something many false prophets want to trick you into believing—convincing you it will be a tattoo on the forehead or a chip implanted under the skin. It's far more complex. You need to know what the mark of the beast is, as written in Revelation 13:8—many will be deceived, but you don't have to be. Christ said in Mark 13:23: *"Behold, I have told you everything beforehand."* Jesus truly told you how not to be deceived, and Pastor Arnold Murray walks you through this study step-by-step.

The Word of God on this important topic—the mark of the beast. The call is free, and the DVD is free, even shipping and handling are free. All you need to do is call 800-643-4645 and order your single copy of *The Mark of the Beast* (one per household). You can also write to order the free DVD at: Shepherd's Chapel, P.O. Box 416, Gravette, Arkansas 72736. Don't let Satan deceive you. Well, here we are again. Let's give the number, please: 1-800-643...

4645 — that's a good number, from Puerto Rico to all of America, Alaska, Hawaii, and all across Canada. If your soul is moved, ask a question, don't be shy, please. Just don't ask about any specific pastor, denomination, or organization—we don't judge people. We have only one Judge—our Father, and He judges. You should always listen to Him and let Him judge. What you need is spiritual discernment—knowing who to fellowship with, who to listen to, and who to study with.

Discern, but do not judge. For those of you listening on shortwave radio around the world—it's always good to hear from you. We know groups in China are growing rapidly, and we are grateful for that. The Word of God is needed by all of us around the world. If you have a prayer request, you don't need a number, you don't need an address. Why? Because God knows what you're thinking right now—you don't have to say it out loud. He loves you, He created you.

You are not like everyone else—your DNA is unique, your fingerprints are unique. You are special because He wanted you specifically. But He wants you to love Him so He can trust you to help your brothers and sisters in the truth that is being revealed, so people can come to it and not to Satan's lies. With that said, let's stand before His throne and ask for blessing during this time. Heavenly Father, we thank You for the opportunity to serve You.

Be with us this day, be with all these fathers, touch us in the precious name of Yeshua. Thank You, Father, Amen.

Dr. Pastor Arnold B. Murray

Questions & Answers:

Sharon from South Carolina. Question: *"Is it wrong that I go to a local church that teaches the Rapture, and they seem like good people? Is it wrong for me to go there?"* I believe the Lord understands. Thank you for your teaching. Please, please. I never tell anyone where to go to church, or not to go, because I believe...

I teach those whom God has chosen or whom God Himself leads. And even if a church teaches incorrectly, if God put you there, there's a reason—maybe to plant a seed. Who knows? I don't, but God does. You need to be very sensitive to whether God is making you feel that going there is wrong—then it is. But if not, He probably has a plan. The main thing is to pray and trust the Father. Alright, well, how do we say this...

This is... uh... Chahi from Maryland. *My church doesn't teach chapter by chapter or verse by verse, and many don't even know about the Kenites and the false Christ. My wife loves the church, and it has a good community, but it's not like the churches of Philadelphia and Smyrna. I believe the truth has definitely caused division between me and my wife. Should I keep going to this church? I don't want to participate in sins because they don't teach the Philadelphia and Smyrna doctrines. Please pray for me that the Lord guides me.*

Keep me as I humbly wait for the true return of Christ. You know you have it right. You know you have to find a way to live with your wife. And maybe God has a purpose for you being there. But here's what I'll say—just like to the previous person—the decision is yours to make. It starts to feel like you're being pressured too much, like they're trying to convince you to do one thing or another. Watch that closely, listen to yourself, pray, and let the Father guide you.

Harvey from Oregon, *when the earth...*

*is restored, and when we return, will we be in a spiritual body or a physical one?* We're not going anywhere, okay? We stay right here. Christ will come here, and Almighty God will come here—we aren't going anywhere. He will restore this Earth, and we will be in our spiritual bodies. So whatever happens to this earth won't affect us one bit. Just trust in God and everything will be fine.

Shley from Oklahoma, glad you and your husband are enjoying the program. I have a question...

The names of the books of the Bible, both Old and New Testaments, certainly have meanings in their languages—Hebrew, Latin, Greek. For example, Jeremiah means *"whom God has raised up,"* a prophet He elevated and sent to us. And the Book of Revelation means *"unveiling,"* *"revelation."* All the names mean something, and usually, that meaning reflects the book's content. For example, Genesis means *"in the beginning."* Sometimes the Hebrew name is slightly different from how it's translated in the King James, but that's okay, and everything has meaning. Carol from Pennsylvania: *Were all souls with God before He sent us here to be born of a woman? Were we like angels in the first earth age, or were we some separate heavenly being?* We were ourselves; we had spiritual bodies. The truth is, our real body—the body we were created in—is a spiritual body, and the body we will move into is also a spiritual body. So our true dwelling is a spiritual body. These fleshly bodies...

They decay, age, get sick, and when we're done with them, we're done. As it is written in Ecclesiastes 12:6-7, immediately your spirit—which is the mind of your soul—enters that beautiful spiritual body, and from then on, you are in it.

Katie from Wisconsin, *what do you mean when you say there will be no more births in the third earth age? Does that mean my children won't have children of their own? Sorry if that sounds foolish.* No, you're not foolish at all.

That's a good question: why won't there be children born in the third earth age? Because all people will be translated into spiritual bodies; there will be no more souls to be born. And when this earth age ends, it means every soul has already been born of a woman and passed through this age—then it's over. Alright, God is always perfectly just: what happens to one happens to all, and that's the way it should be.

Daniel from Chicago asks: *what does the name Daniel mean in Hebrew or Greek? Is it related to...*

Wisdom—well, every word is related to wisdom if you understand it, then you're wise. But Daniel isn't particularly connected to wisdom; *"God is my judge"* is what Daniel means (*Dan Daniel*). I remember you said that if someone touches God's chosen, it's like a poke in the eye. Where in the Bible can that be found? Deuteronomy 32:10. What does it say there? It's the Song of Moses. All of God's chosen should at least—not necessarily memorize it, but know it.

With the Song of Moses, because that's what the overcomers sing, and the entire text can be read in Deuteronomy 32. But God says there: *I have set apart My children, and if anyone messes with them, it's like touching the apple of My eye.* The apple—well, the center... sorry, I'll correct myself: Scripture says *"the apple of His eye,"* and *"apple"* is the pupil of the eye, in Hebrew. Deuteronomy, chapter 32, verse 10.

Elizabeth from Canada, *someone stole from me...*

They ask for forgiveness from you and from God, and they forgive, but I haven't gotten my money back. I want to understand where justice is for me. Well, what you're saying isn't quite right. If someone steals from someone, there must be restitution; otherwise, there's no forgiveness. If someone stole from you and hasn't returned it, only you, and only you, Elizabeth, can forgive them that debt—only you. God won't release them; they owe you. Under the old law, they often had to repay fourfold.

Sometimes the value was triple, depending on the situation, but the punishment was quite severe. So if someone tries to cheat you, thinking God has forgiven them and they don't need to pay you back—they're just lying and puffing themselves up. Just wish them a good day, because God will settle accounts with them anyway.

Ruby from California, *Pastor Murray, what is the real reason our dear Heavenly Father subjected Jesus Christ, His only Son, to the suffering of the cross? Explain why Almighty God did this.*

God the Creator—well, have you ever read the Bible? It's explained quite clearly there. I quoted a lot from it today, for example, from the Book of Hebrews, chapter 2. In verse 12 it says: *"You will tell this..."*—from the beginning, you must tell this to the whole congregation. And you know what? That's also in Psalms, Psalm 22, which talks about His crucifixion—the same as what's written in Hebrews, chapter 2, verse 12. And in verse 14 comes the most important part—*"I came, I died..."*

The cross was needed to bring true salvation, but the main reason was to die in order to destroy Satan, that is death, and honestly, all who follow him. And to show that I ask God, saying: *"I ask You to be born in the flesh"* because I am not afraid to be born in the flesh. God with us—Immanuel. Hebrews chapter 2 is just an excellent section: God tells us directly where everything is settled. But you have to understand that our Father is a God of love, and He did not force His Son to be crucified—He was Immanuel, God with us.

He was crucified, but He did it to destroy those who wept at His trial and demanded His crucifixion. You see, He is the Father of all children, and this Father had to bring about the execution of some of those children. That's not pleasant—it causes Him more pain than the crucifixion itself. But because they shouted for Him to be crucified, He can now say: *"Sit in the pit, and it's over."* And He does it out of love, because He doesn't want this evil spirit to come and continue bothering His obedient children.

They themselves keep causing problems for God's chosen and those who love the Father, so He wants to destroy them. That's why they treated Him that way—He will do the same to them.

George from Maine, question: *What is too little for the Lord, and what is enough? I hope to hear your explanation on television. I record all the lectures and try to watch them before work. The Word seems to prepare me for everything during the day; without the Word of the Heavenly Father, I can't make it.*

I wouldn't have such strength, well, well, I'm glad you have that strength. People often think they aren't doing enough for the Lord. What does He want? What does He want? He only wants your love. All you need to do is tell Him you love Him. And our day will come when you will do a lot—that's when you're taken to be a witness. That's our purpose, that's our destiny. So you're doing great, but many people feel like they aren't.

It's okay to feel like you're undervaluing God for all He's done for me—just pray and tell Him you love Him.

Rosea from Georgia, *where in the Bible is it written that Michael binds Satan?* You can read that in Revelation—we just covered it—Revelation 12:6-8. Who holds Satan back? Only the One who will allow it until He is taken out of the way—Michael. Because Michael and his angels threw Satan, the dragon, the devil, Lucifer, the Morning Star, the fake one, and all his minions out of heaven, and they rejoice in heaven.

*Woe to those on Earth,* because he is down there—the Antichrist—and he knows he has very little time left, only five months. And that's when we step onto the stage. It will be just amazing for us; we will see many incredible things, the presence of the Holy Spirit like never before. Benjamin from Idaho, *please tell me what Semper Fidelis means.* Love in Christ—Semper Fidelis is always an abbreviation; there's no such thing as an *"ex-Marine."* Once a Marine, always a Marine.

*Marines*—that's like our motto, and it means *always faithful.* You can always count on a Marine if he's with you on the front lines and you're moving forward—he won't run, he won't stray. Well, maybe I didn't say that quite right, but he'll stay with you to the end. That's what *always faithful* means—that's our motto. Thanks for the question. Rosie from Illinois, I was watching...

I was watching television one morning and cursed—not using any bad words, just felt really strong in my faith. Here's my question: *Was that wrong?* No, you can curse the devil, that's fine. If you saw him trying to take over our people, curse him—it's good, he's already cursed anyway.

Howard from California, *you said in a lesson on Revelation, chapter 6, that the word "bow" in verse 2 refers to something like a cheap imitation? I checked it out since you gave that reference.*

Strong's 5115 refers to the base 5088, seen as the simplest fabric. How does that connect to a cheap imitation? Ask yourself—I think you missed half the phrase. The phrase was: *this is a cheap imitation, this false, cheap fabric compared to chapter 4, with the bow that was around the throne of God—with the Shekinah, the glory, the light, not fabric, but light and God's presence, the Shekinah, that shines.* Then you'll understand why this cheap fabric on the white horse tried to...

Look, holy, holy Joe—well, yeah, he's a complete fake, and it was a cheap imitation compared to the true glory in chapter four. Alright, you're doing well—always double-check when you have doubts. But then remember what you're comparing it to—it was cheap compared to the real thing in chapter four. Ginny from Ohio, *where is the Ark of the Covenant, and why is it hidden? And who are "they" anyway?* We just discussed this—Revelation, chapter 11, the last two verses, that very covenant item.

The Ark of the Covenant itself—it's in God's house; God took it back home from the earth because people wouldn't care for it or honor it. The Ark consists of the Mercy Seat. Many might ask, *"Why did God take it back?"* Well, what is the Mercy Seat? I thought, Christ sits there. Where does Christ sit? At the right hand of God, on the Mercy Seat. So it's obvious He's in heaven, and all that.

What does Revelation 11 say? In my opinion, considering all the possible ways it could have been conveyed—because at that time it was just a likeness, but it was still a real fact when God laid His hand on it. Or Elijah left and was taken by some apparatus—who knows, we'll find out later. But we know exactly where it is—Christ sits on it.

Jarvis from Arkansas, *in Proverbs, chapter 8, verse 22—who is being spoken of there?* Thank you—that's one of the best chapters in the Bible, Proverbs.

Chapter 8, Wisdom speaks. Go back to the first verse and start there—Wisdom is speaking. The verse says that Wisdom was with God from the beginning. Why was Wisdom always with God? You know why? If you look in Proverbs, chapter 1, verse 7—true understanding and knowledge is the fear of God, love for Him. Because all wisdom comes from God. And you know what? The more you share it with others, the more He will give you—your cup will simply overflow.

This is the most beautiful passage when Wisdom speaks. She even talks about God who created all His children in the beginning, you know, how He took clay, a little lump, and brought it all together. Wisdom speaks—it's something beautiful. Hey, Marjorie from Tennessee, *Marjorie, you're ordering the Apocrypha—good job, dear. Don't you just love having materials to study God's Word?* That's the way, never forget that.

H from Louisiana—*who resurrects in the first resurrection, and who resurrects in the second resurrection?* It's quite simple. Those who overcome in their physical bodies and participate in the first resurrection, as written in Revelation, chapter 20, will be there in a few days. In the second resurrection, the second death has no power. The second resurrection happens at the end of the Millennial Kingdom, when perhaps we might be able to pull a couple of people out of the fire and make believers out of them. And I... I...

I can't believe I'm out of time again. Alright, I love you all, because you enjoy studying the Father's Word, chapter by chapter, verse by verse. But most of all, God loves you for it—it makes His day. And when you make His day, oh, how He will make yours! Remember, we are supported by your tithes and offerings. If we've helped you, help us continue to reach you. When you do that, you bless God, and He will always bless you. Most importantly—listen to me, and listen carefully.

Alright, when you stay in His Word every day, it's a good day, even if there are difficulties. You know why? Because Jesus, our Savior, the Messiah, is the Living Word.
