...occasionally in our life God gives us something that is just really great, you know? I mean on a personal level. And as we know, and as we read, and as we studied in this morning's lecture as to how when we're under His wing—[Music]—we know we're protected. And if we're not real careful, what we do is we say, "Oh yes, never another pain, never another worry." But that isn't the way it goes, you know. That isn't the way it goes. You've got to develop... all what can I use as an analogy? Well, let's use less rather than an analogy, let's take an example. Let's use Joseph. All right, Joseph, who we've just been studying with in the Book of Genesis. He was thrown in jail for two years by Potiphar. I mean, that's a long time. I don't care who you are, two years would be a long time to be incarcerated. But all the time Joseph smiled. He didn't say it, but if I were to put some words in his mouth, I would probably say, "The part of our God is overshadowing me." And, boy, I guess who's going to be signing your check in two years, you know? Okay, guess who's going to be signing your check in two years? You got to learn to be patient with God also. He has a time and a place for everything. And bless your hearts, the way we mess everything up, we better go by His schedule, don't you think? I believe we better go by His schedule. When He's ready for us, He'll pull your chain. All right, that's an old Southern thing. All right. And, uh, and He'll call you for it.
Well, you know, before the Persian Gulf War began, I have this feeling I get when I know the Father is going to intercede. And another gentleman and myself—and the reason I'm sharing this is I have a witness. Sometimes when God gives you something, there's no witness around, you know? And you kind of hate to share things like that. And sometimes you're not supposed to; never supposed to. This time I'm going to. And we were... we so happened that we were working outdoors, and we looked up, and here is a perfect window. I mean, I'm not talking about raggled-along-the-edges-type window, okay, in the cloud. I'm talking about a square window. Most of you that... I'm an old jet prop jockey, don't I know what vapor trails look like? All right, we even make a few perfect, so I'm not talking vapor trails with you, all right. I'm talking a window in the heavens, even beveled as though a lay or a mill rather had hewn it out to a perfect square, and then with beveled edges. And I looked at this man and I said, "Have you ever seen anything like that?" And we looked in amazement for something you don't often see. And then soon, way down below this picture or this reality, two of our jet jockeys come whistling across, leaving vapor trails, no doubt on their way or preparing to be on their way to the Persian Gulf. And it was from this that developed the lecture on the third chapter of Joel, that God was going to intercede.
But, beloved, get ready, because even as Jacob was pushed out of his nest, so to speak, by his own mother for his own protection—sometimes the mother will do that, you know, boots you right out there—he was traveling across a desolate land, and for him a window opened. And certainly we didn't see anything like Jacob saw that day, you know, with the angels in heaven. But you know, sometimes you don't have to see all of it, and you know what's happening. But here was this ladder, meaning our way to the heavens. And, uh, at this time with this window open, and the reason I'm sharing this with you, our Father passed through that window and He interceded in the Persian Gulf. But there's something you must remember: that through windows of that nature, the supernatural path to and fro, and not all is good that's going to pass through this window. Do you understand what I'm talking about? Not all the supernatural that pass through this window of this generation is going to be good, because Michael's going to cast Satan and his fallen angels out on this Earth. How strong must a Christian be? You know, a Christian doesn't have to have any physical strength at all. They've just got to have enough sense to get under the wing of the eagle—our Father. He'll protect you. He'll snuggle you right up there, you know, like a mom will a little chick that rolls out of the nest, or he can get back under there and snuggle you right up to Him, and He'll protect you. So when even the negative comes through that window—and it will, even in your own lives—I would say you better be on guard, because the morning you may wake up, you see, Satan knows who God's set aside, once or those that study His word, those that will make a stand for Him. He knows you. So who do you think is the first one he heads for when he starts feeling sorry for himself? Is you. So if you wake up some morning and it seems like your world got turned all the way upside down, then think to yourself, "Oh, boy, guess who's going to be signing your paycheck in two years?" All right, maybe two days, maybe two hours, or maybe two weeks. Because we have the victory. There will be dark moments, but you must stand.
You know, in the last... in the last Passover, I either the last or the one before, I can't remember, I shared with you what I call uh Isaiah's Apocalypse, the Apocalypse or the Revelation of Isaiah. And as you'll remember, it was the 25th chapter, 24th chapter rather, of um of the Book of Isaiah. Do you remember that first verse? Let's just refresh ourselves. If we made the 24th... the 24th chapter of Isaiah and the first verse, let's refresh our minds. "Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof." Now if we, not being able to read that in the Hebrew manuscripts, you lose a great deal, because what He says is: "I'm going to take your dirty plate or bowl. I'm going to take the world as though it were a dirty plate or a bowl, and I'm going to put the soap to it, and I'm going to turn it upside down, and I'm going to clean it up." That's what it says in the Hebrew. So we see how much it loses. So it comes a time of cleansing, and when that happens, a little garbage has got to fall off the side somewhere along the way. And there's not a one of us that doesn't have some garbage in ourself that we've got to shed. And that's why those bad days come along, because you're not really a full-fledged soldier for the Lord until the garbage is all gone. And I'm going to tell you something: as long as we're in the flesh, we may get rid of some, but we'll pick up more. We just have a habit of doing that. It happens; it's nature. Paul, don't don't feel like that you're an orphan and it only happens to you. Paul himself said, "What I would do, I would, but what seems like I always end up doing what I would not." Flesh, boy. Just think, it's not going to be too long till maybe we'll be rid of these things, and then we won't have that particular weakness. And you can bet one thing: Satan sure won't have a chance then. Maybe he's going to be locked away. I'm kind of rambling, rambling along here, just changing from one subject basically to another. But I want you to know you're living in an age that you're going to have to be on guard. And you within that age can have perfect peace of mind and contentment, for your eyes can open and see the divine intervention of Almighty God, such as I have mentioned already today: a 100-hour war, [Music] with very few losses. Unfortunately for the poor people on the Iraqi side—and when I say poor people, Saddam Hussein is not included in that; I'm talking about the sons and the daughters of those that died that had no choice—but on the side that stood for the banner of right, remember Saddam Hussein's words: "God will give us the victory. This will be the mother of all wars, and God will give us the victory. And the Allies, the United States and its allies, old Satan will let them down." Do you realize what he was calling Yahweh? He was calling Him "old Satan." Boy, your daddy, your Father, doesn't like that. He doesn't like that at all. So there was divine intervention. Anyone that's ever been in combat knows that instantly, when you play with uh dangerous toys, people get hurt, even in practice. So we come to that time He's going to turn the bowl upside down.
Now, real quickly, let's go to the 18th verse in within this Apocalypse as the cleansing takes place: "And it shall come to pass, that he who fleeth from the noise of the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that cometh up out of the midst of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for the windows from on high are open, and the foundations of the earth do shake." In other words, the systems that are therein—not necessarily the world itself just yet—they will shake. There will be a shaking of powers, one world order, the new world order. "The earth is utterly broken down, and the earth is clean dissolved; the earth is moved exceedingly." That's that's all of the governmental systems melted into one big pot; it's a new world order. "The earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard, and shall be removed like a cottage; and the transgression thereof shall be heavy upon it; and it shall fall, and not rise again." The political system of Satan. We were reading about this morning that was in the world that was, and that we see the ten rulers taking hope out of seven mountains or nations, forming a one world system. When this one's done, that's the last ones. That's the last one, friends. Because Satan will no longer be afforded—not at the end of the Millennium—will he be afforded the luxury of controlling the world. He can only try to deceive it whatever he can, but he will fail in that also. "And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall punish the host of the high one." Do you know what that says in the Hebrew? You know what the high ones are? That's the heavenly bodies. That's the angelic beings. We're not just talking about a war here on Earth, but a spiritual war. So when the window opens, both good and bad come through it. They that are on high and the kings of the earth upon the earth—both ways. Whoa, woe to those that are on Earth. But don't you fear, dear ones, we are in good standing with the Almighty, and the Almighty shall protect His own. It is not a thing to regret nor to dread, see, but it is prophecy being fulfilled. And praise God for it. Your Father planned it, and your Father can do anything. We do have the victory, and thank God that it brings us that one step closer. This is just a little input into the series you're getting on the deadly wound, which is the next step. In tonight's lecture, we're going to go deeper than we ever have before into this deadly wound subject. I look forward to it.
Just as a Christian, realize that Christianity is not playing church. Christianity is not a religion; it's a reality. Got to be in your life every day. Not making you a religious fanatic, but living in the simplicity and teaching in the simplicity and acting in the simplicity in which Christ set the example for each and every one of you and those men and those women. And that's the reason that the last service in... on this Passover will be Women of the Bible, because I feel women, kind of you know, in the past and through history, women have always been protected by the men because the men are sent overseas and so forth and the women don't battle. Well, my dears, you're going to be in this battle, His sons and His daughters. And the women get kind of a bad rap from Bible history. Now I'm going to bring it up to date. Now I'm going to make some... I'm going to draw some things to your attention about what a woman of God really looks like, and you're going to find out, and I hope that it will strengthen you and cause you to be ready, for this is a war that is of the spirit, not of the flesh, that is approaching when the Great Deception comes over the world. I'm not saying this to frighten anyone, for it is a glorious moment—glorious moment. Our Father's word will see you through it.
Let's talk some more about the deadly wounds. I want to bring you back, if I may, to what we discussed this morning concerning the first four verses in the 13th chapter of Revelation. We observed a beast system rise from the sea, the sea being the people of the world. And we observed then a... we four certain beast systems: a lion, a bear, a panther, and then what is commonly called the nondescript. Well, I've got a description for him, all right. He's not nondescript to me. He's all four roles of Satan, as well as some geographical areas—that's to say, nations. And then soon after this we saw this system, this beast—when anything is given multi-headed, God doesn't deal in gory uh comic strip characters, as you've all heard me say, I'm sure—that means it's simply a political system, a world political system. And then we noticed that something received a deadly wound, and then the dragon—that's one of the parties—healed it. So we've got the dragon, we've got four beasts, and then we have a world political system. That's uh one, two, three, four so far. All right, let's see if we can add another ingredient from the Book of Daniel in chapter 7, and let's grow in understanding the wound to that beast that the dragon will heal. Let's try to understand who it will happen to—that is to say, which system, or how does a political system receive a deadly wound? It isn't necessarily a man being wounded; it's the system being wounded. And when a system is going out for one world peace and it has men at the head of it rather than Jesus Christ Himself, you're never going to see peace. Therefore the scripture being fulfilled—I'll say First Thessalonians chapter 5—they'll cry peace, peace, peace, and then we'll come destruction. They're not going to have peace without Christ. There is no way you can find peace of mind without Yeshua. It just isn't to be had. Oh, you may have some highs for a little bit, feeling good because you're just alive, but those lows are so low without Jesus.
So let's take this seventh chapter which Daniel has been given a vision. It gives us one more ingredient that is necessary for us to understand. Chapter 7, let's start with verse 2: "Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea." There we've got the same sea again, but we do have one new partner in the play here. There's four of them; it's called the wind, which in the Hebrew tongue is *ruach*, the Holy Spirit. These Spirits—those four spirits—you've heard of them again in Revelation the 7th chapter, where the end is about to come and the man is yelled at; he says, "Stop, don't let the end be yet until all are sealed in their foreheads with the seal of God that are supposed to be sealed," speaking of the hundred forty-four thousand. That means those people had to have the truth before the four spirits—or the four winds, same thing—all right, could bring about the end. So they are agents; the four spirits are agents of God that work to bring about the confirmation of the end of this age. They have a direct contact with that in all places: in Revelation chapter 6, in Daniel chapter 7, as well as in that great chapter of the dry bones where there is a great valley of dry bones and He said to the preacher, "Preach to them." A prophesied prophecy is teaching or preaching. And when the truth from his mouth—Ezekiel's mouth—began to pour out on those dry bones, naturally when they began to hear the truth, they begin to actually live, because you're not living without the truth of God's word. You may be coasting, but in God's eyes you're nothing but a stack of bones. That's it. And in that book of Ezekiel it said, "Tell the wind, tell the four winds, the four spirits, to breathe upon these." So you see there again they have a play. And as you go out and you plant your seeds, you begin to bring more truth into the world, and bone joins onto bone, person onto person, and soon you have that family that our Father deals with.
Let's go on a little bit with this now that we have this new set of uh entries into this confirmation. Verse 3: "And the four beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another. The first like a lion, and had eagle's wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man's heart was given to it." This is where many people think that the Antichrist will be a flesh man. It won't be; he won't be. It simply means it's a political system operated by men. All right. "And another, behold another beast, a second, like a bear." Remember Revelation 13 chapter, verse 2. "And it raised itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh." You know who the Bear Nation is? It's been called the Bear Nation for years and years, and it still continues to be called that. The system—this has nothing to do with its people. The Christians that are Christians in that Bear Nation—listen, friends, you're looking at real Christians there, because they have to cut holes in ice to even baptize each other. It's difficult to be a Christian in a communistic country. And thank God that that hope is being broke, and I think you all know why, because we're coming to that time. "After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard." And same as in Revelation 13:2, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given it. These are the four hidden dynasties that tack on to the leopard that changes its spots occasionally. Their spot is not our spot. Remember Deuteronomy 32, the Song of Moses that the overcomers sing—Revelation 15, remember it—"Their spot is not our spot." Their Christ is not our Christ. They're deceived by following Antichrist. What are those four hidden dynasties that basically bring forth the one world system? Education—that's through the education systems; the political systems; the monetary systems; and yes, the religious systems of the world are used by Satan in part as he works in and among and through to bring in false teachings. And this, beloved, is why the spot-changer uses those hidden dynasties to bring into being the new world order. It sounds so sweet. And don't worry, it is, because it's God's plan.
"After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly." This is why it's called by most the nondescript—there's no description for it. "And it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns." You see there the order. The ten horns cannot move into position completely until Antichrist appears on Earth. This nondescript beast controlled those ten world rulers when the world was divided in seven dominions. It's strange we have seven continents, but I think we're going to leave it dominions for total world control. All right, now so we have that one and we have the ten world rulers. But what is this that follows? "I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn." And of course you know the little horn is one of the names for Antichrist. You with companion Bibles, you will find about twelve or thirteen names Antichrist is called by in your center column under "little horn" there in relation to this. "And before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up." In other words, there will be three that shall be plucked up. Now let's simplify this. This is why I worked so hard with this, was to find a way, and perhaps diagrams would have been it, but I chose not to this time because I think we've got the characters down pretty good. And it's important that you remember: we have a one world political system that rises from the world. That's no great mystery for you to catch on to, because you've heard your president say it several times this year: "We're going to work for a new world order, a new one world system that will have its own forces and teeth to bring about safety and peace everywhere—peace, peace, peace." That should be no problem for you. And then you have these four beast systems. Don't let the word "beast" throw you; it just means living beings. Do you know that living beings can act like beasts sometimes in their cruelty to the underprivileged and others, as they care not for the common man, as they strive for world control over all people? That's Satan's doings. You can blame it on men if you want to, but they're possessed men. Maybe not possessed as we think of the frothing, raving demonic possessed person, but he's possessed with the spirit of greed, power, position, importance—make it at any cost. That's what he's driven with, until he loses all contact with a hurting civilization, with a hurting society, because we've got to have that new world order at any cost. Go so far, then back out? What does it matter that 50,000 people, a hundred thousand, innocents, billions will die? It's nice, but it's cruel to leave, as Bush said, a job undone. And I'm using that to pull it in to show you how that greed for world power can cause what is seemingly right to really in actuality be very wrong.
Now we observed those four uh systems which are simply Satan's tools that he uses to whip in line or bring in line people by brainwashing through our educational systems. The saying that don't—if you're a Christian, don't you ever say anything against the government because you're not supposed to mix religion and politics. I read this; I read those our rights, and it says that they were supposed to have freedom of religion, that the government can in no way prevent you from believing whatever you choose to believe. And I think it's good that you don't have to be a Christian for that to protect you—the Muslim brothers, whoever, the Buddhist, they have that freedom in this nation. But nowhere does it say that that group of brothers that would call themselves Christians or whatever are not citizens, because this government is made up of the people and by the people—that's what our rights say. So it's a bunch of baloney when someone tells you... In other words, every Christian as a body has the right to vote however they so choose, and there's nothing wrong with it. We are protected in our life. Christians, I do not believe it is right for them to force their belief on anyone or to force their culture on anyone, but they should have the freedom and the right to live it as they so choose. So we see these dynasties working. Now we added a new one this time before the deadly wound: we had the action of the four winds, the four spirits that stood before God waiting to bring about the end. It was important that we picked them up from this book to totally understand the sequence of events in Daniel 7. We saw the four winds discussing—they're the four spirits that stand before God taking their orders directly from Him.
Now let's go to the Book of Revelation, if we may. Let's go to chapter 6 in the Book of Revelation—we've covered 12 there in this order of events—and let's see if we can't pick up just a little more that would make this a little easier to understand, or so that we can follow a pattern or pick up a pattern on possibly where and who to this deadly wound shall happen to and when. Chapter 6, The Book of Revelation: "And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see." Now let me stop you right there for just a moment, because the four beasts here in Greek are *zoa* or *zun*, and they are the four living beings that are at the altar of God as protectors. *Cherub* means to keep, grab, protect; they were protectors of God's office. So we're not talking about God's throne and so forth. Some say, "Well, why does God need someone to protect the throne?" Well, He likes to use people, and He used these four *zoa* which are not human beings nor are they souls of human beings; they are four living beings that can do nothing but love God and serve Him. They are the ones that show these signs. Okay. What is verse 2? "And I saw, and behold a white horse." This white horse is the exact reverse of the white horse in Revelation 19 that Jesus Christ appears on. This is the white horse that Satan himself rides in. "And I beheld a white horse, and he that sat on him had a bow." Now in chapter 4, God was on His throne and there was a huge rainbow bow around Him, but this word in the Greek—*toxon*—is a cheap imitation of a bow. Satan is a chief imitator of all things, especially of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. "And a crown was given unto him." He's going to be king, all right. King for a day; won't be much longer than that. "And he went forth conquering, and to conquer. And when he had opened the second seal"—I understand this; you remember that I have taught you that the seals are not in chronological order with the way events shall happen. You've heard me say that many times. I'm going tonight to do my very best to put them in order for you whereby you can learn more about what's about to happen. "This is the second seal that the Lamb opened, and he opened your mind whereby you could understand. And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see. And there went out another horse that was red." These colors are important, beloved. White and then red. "And power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth"—not from heaven, but from the earth—"and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword." Now when you have people fighting one another, what do you usually think of? Civil war. How do you have a... what would you really call a civil war if you had a one world system? You would have again a war within itself, but usually within people, within people. But you think of a civil war. Verse 5: "And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse." It's important to remember the color: a black horse. "And he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand." You know what that is: the old scale—you put an ounce on this side and an ounce on that side, and like sister Justice standing up there doing her job, you know, everything is plumb balanced out, square and even, okay. And that's what he's got. "And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine." The oil and the wine is symbolic of the oil that we anoint in Jesus' name, and the wine is His blood. See that you don't mess up God's remnant. Well, you're about... what are we talking about here? What it's really saying in the Greek is: you're going to work all day for one loaf of bread. It's going to take all day to earn one loaf of bread. Sorry, friends, no meat and potatoes—one loaf of bread. Verse 7: "And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse"—or you could say a grizzly horse. Do you know what "grizzly" is? It comes from... it's a French word from the word *gris* I believe it is—dappled or gray or pale in that respect, not white or not black. Uh, let's just say... let's just say iron gray. You know what an iron gray horse is? You know what a dapple... let's call it a dapple gray. You all know what a dapple gray is. "And his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth." This word "beast" here is not *zoe*—it's important that you make a special study of it if you're not familiar with it—it's *therion*, which means a venomous, poisonous beast. We're talking about the canines, we're talking about the offspring of the serpent here. Okay. Verse 9: "And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls..." Now listen carefully. We got a break here. We got a different thought totally. The fifth seal—and this is why they're out of order—"I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held." Who was slain for the word of God? My goodness, look at the coliseums in Rome. What about John? What about Peter? And what about all those that served after them that were crucified, burned, what have you? Many people have died for the word of God. Where are their souls? They're at the altar. To be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord. "And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?" So it's still going on, it's still going on on the earth at this fifth seal. "And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants"—who are their fellow servants? Those that are still on Earth, you Christians also—"and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled." [Music] Unfortunately, that translation means killed—a spiritual death if it's possible, which is far worse than a physical death. As for that one on the white horse, when you know better, to cause you to think he is Jesus—that's a spiritual death. That's being killed the hard way, for if you know better, it's quite a sin. You understand? It's almost... it's almost akin to the unforgivable sin, that's for someone to deny the Holy Spirit the privilege of speaking through them to witness against. I cannot teach what I'm about to say, but I know that the fifth seal was opened on July the 9th, 1969. I will not ask you to even repeat that; I'm just telling you I know that's when it was opened. I do not have to lean on that to document to you that it hasn't happened yet, because were it to be when the Antichrist was on the earth, the fellow servants would not be crying this cry that they must still give a testimony. All right, so it is definitely out of sequence. And in as much as it cannot come to pass when the first one was Antichrist appearing on earth... You say, "So what do we have here? Got a bunch of horses, a bunch of colors, a bunch of things going on. Looks like some pretty poor wages taking place or some balance changed, balances here going on." You know, I hate to do this to you, but I got to run you around just a little more. We need one more ingredient to make all this lock in and clear up for you. All right, we've got to go to the book of Zechariah in the Minor Prophets, the next to the last book in the Old Testament, and we've been doing chapter 6. Is a bunch here... does this make three sixes? I'm kidding; don't read anything into that. All right, that's not 666. It just means this is the third sixth chapter we've gone to. Okay, means nothing.
I want to tell you about the fifth chapter in Zechariah, next to the last book in the Old Testament. I want to tell you about the fifth chapter. Well, what time is it? We got time. I'm going to read a little bit out of it to you, okay. "This is the instruction due to Zechariah. Then I turned, and I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a flying roll." This... "And he said unto me, What seest thou? And I answered, I see a flying roll; the length thereof is twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof ten cubits." That thing is 30 by 15, meaning make it big enough they'll have to see it. You got the idea. "Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth shall be cut off as on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth shall be cut off as on that side according to it." It's a real shame the way that the Hebrew is butchered in many places. What this really says—follow me—"Then said he unto me, This is the curse that goeth forth over the face of the whole earth: for every one that stealeth by this new law shall be let off on this side according to it; and every one that sweareth by this lie, all right, shall be let off also." Does that sound familiar? Is it we have young people dying in the streets of this nation [Music] because of this very practice? Plea bargaining and that sort of thing, instead of upright honesty. Well, honesty is a little strong, but the fact that laws are not civil laws—do you know what I mean by civil laws? I mean laws that are civilized, like not enforced. Anytime you let them slide, somebody's going to get hurt. But that's happened, see. It's happened in this land. They're going by man's laws instead of God's laws as they pertain to this. Then he says in verse 4: "I will bring it forth, saith the Lord of hosts, and it shall enter into the house of the thief, and into the house of him that sweareth falsely by my name: and it shall remain in the midst of his house, and shall consume it with the timber thereof and the stones thereof." Tell me this: how in the world are you going to take something 30 by 15 and have it go through the roof of the house? That doesn't work. But you remember what Jesus said: "In the final days, greater miracles than these you will do." And He was speaking as to the size of the crowd you'd be speaking to. Radio signals go through rooftops; television signals go through rooftops. What He's saying is you make a ministry and you make it a word so large that they can't miss see it, and then you cause it to go into their very own homes, where they are convicted by the very truth and the word of God. Because He's continuing on and He's telling what a lousy, despicable state that this world grows into. Let's take just a little more—just don't call this digression; we're off the subject a little bit, but it's leading up to the condition of that final which you see around you today. "Then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, Lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth. Look out there. And I said, What is it? And he said, This is an ephah." It's a big old bushel basket, only bigger, that goeth forth. And he said, "Moreover, this is through all the earth." How much of it? All the earth—one world. "And, behold, there was lifted up a talent of lead"—that's about a hundred to 180 pounds, it's according to whose talent you want to go by—"and this is a woman that sitteth in the midst of the ephah." You know who she is? She's that old harlot of Revelation 13. And you knew that old harlot—she's that woman that sells out to Antichrist, and she thinks she's all right; she says, "I am a queen, I'm the widow because my Jesus is already here." And he said, "This is wickedness. And he cast it into the midst of the ephah"; he slammed that hundred-pound weight down as a lid, the weight of the lid upon the mouth thereof. "Then lifted I up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came out two women, and the wind"—it's a *ruach*, all right, but it's an evil *ruach*, it's an evil spirit—"within their wings; for they had wings like the wings of a stork," that's an unclean bird by biblical law, "and they lifted up the ephah between the earth and the heaven." Understand, this is not natural; it is supernatural. "Then said I to the angel that talked with me, Whither do these bear the ephah? Where are they taking her? And he said unto me, To build it an house in the land of Shinar." You know what Shinar is? Babylonia. And this is kind of an acrostic way of putting it. Babylonia—do you know what the state that is today? Iraq. Iraq, yes—not Iran, Iraq, all right. "And it shall be established, and set there upon her own base." Do you know who the two women are? False commercialism—false consumer commerce—and false religion. The essence of those four hidden dynasties we know we're part of. It's going to sit, don't we?
Now sharpen it for me real good. Chapter 6: "And I turned, and lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and, behold, there came four chariots out from between two mountains; and the mountains were mountains of brass." Do you know what brass is? That means they are strong mountains or strong nations. Now let me have your attention away from the word just one moment. In chapter 1, what you're about to see is four chariots. Chariots are machines of war; they mean to attack. In chapter 1 we saw horsemen, which are scouts, and they were on red and grizzled horses, and they were standing under some myrtle trees. He said, "What are y'all doing over there?" "So we've come down to scout the earth out; we're God's angels; we want to see what's going on." But I want you to know, now is because these are chariots, you're going to see action. All right, it's a war machine; some action is going to be taken. You can make a note of that if you like. I'll have it for you in just one second here if you want to make a note in your notes. I was quoting from Zechariah Chapter 1 verses 8 and 9 and 10 about the scouts. Now let's go with the war machine. "In the first chariot were red horses"—remember the color red, red horses—"and in the second black horses, and in the third chariot were white horses, and in the fourth chariot grizzled." Now this is going to take a little bit of work on your part, all right. "Grizzled" is iron gray or dapple gray, or you might even call them a pale horse. But then you have a word here that is added of horses called "bay" horses. That word should be translated rather than to say a different color of horses, but simply to close the sentence with the word "strong" horses. Many of you if you've got a King James, if you notice that word "bay" is... your attention is called to it, and it'll tell you that the word should be really "strong"—that they are strong horses. Why? Because horses are always used to symbolize strength and power, especially when it deals with war. Okay. We got our horses here. We still need to pull into line one more ingredient here, and then that's about it—or is it a repeat? I'll let you decide for yourself. Verse 5: "And the angel answered and said unto me, These are the four spirits of the heavens, the four winds, the four *ruachs*, the four that have to do with the consummating at the end of this age, which go forth from standing before the Lord of all the earth." Where are they coming from? Directly from the Lord of all this earth. Verse 6, listen carefully: "The black horses which are therein go forth into the north country." North country, north country. You got it: bear, bear, all right. And I'm not talking about... well, the north country, all right. It's important you remember that color too. Which color goes to the north country? The black horses. "And the white go forth after them"—this can even be translated "goes a little bit to the west of them" if you want. You know who the white horses are? It's the Kenites that are controlled by their father, and they're going to go wherever they want to anyway, all right. They're going to control. "And the grizzled"—that's the iron gray—"go forth toward the south country." South country. I'm sorry, does that sound ludicrous? But I want to draw your attention to it now. If I were to ask you where... what do you mean by that? Let's read on just a little. "And the bay"—well, did I tell you about the bay? That simply means the strong horses, that's all of them—"went forth, and sought to go that they might walk to and fro through the earth: and he said, Get you hence, walk to and fro through the earth. So they walked to and fro through the earth." Now did they walk to and fro through halfway between here and heaven? Uh-uh. On earth. "Then cried he upon me, and spake unto me, saying, Behold, these that go toward the north country have quieted my spirit in the north country." That's God speaking. He says, "I found a little peace in this." You know why? I feel it started the wheel moving. It started the deadly wound. The deadly wound is started both in the north and the south. If we were to continue on—and you will take that as an assignment for your later work, and if you have trouble with the Hebrew, you get the tapes on the Minor Prophets and understand these cities and the names that are given as to who the crown goes on—it isn't necessary to go along with this study we're doing now; it's just a deeper study into the return of Christ. But I don't want to talk about the return of Christ now; I want to talk about the deadly wound. Requesting now, let's remember two points especially: we've got the grizzly or the pale horses going south, and we've got the black horses going north. And it made God feel good—made Him feel good about Earth again, meaning His plan, His action.
I must caution you to again remember the four spirits, how important they are in this. In the Book of Daniel, they have to do with bringing about the deadly wound. Because of the sixth chapter of the Book of Daniel—that's why I took you there, was to prove just that one point. Like I said, I don't need the experience I had one day that I cannot share with you; it would I would lose my credibility even with some of you, so I choose not to do that. But the sixth chapter of Daniel will do that for you. It lets you know that sequence exact from the four spirits of God. I might ask you, do you know what the four spirits of God are? Do you know what the number four signifies in biblical numerics? The earth. All right. It means those angels are that part of the Holy Spirit that has to do with God's control of earth. That's what it's talking about. It's not some different set of spirits; good spirits—it's the Holy Spirit, that part that is in charge of controlling God's actions and people on this earth.
Now I'm going to share something with you. We're going to go back to the sixth chapter of the Book of Revelation and just let this flow real good for yourself. Analyze it and see what you think about it. See what you think about it. Now first of all, we know that the white horse in verse 2 of chapter 6 in Revelation is Antichrist. We know we don't start with him, all right. Antichrist doesn't show up until after the deadly wound happens and after the horses go forth. So we're going to go to the fifth... I want to say this in a way, and I wish there was some way I could just really simplify it for you. I believe—and this is supposition from here forth—I believe that the seals that I have always taught were out of sequence, as far as the trumpets which is the action or concern, and I have a very special reason because I have certain knowledge that they're not, and I won't go any further than that. But I believe that as far as the flesh bodies are concerned, or as long as we are in flesh bodies and up until the supernatural appears, numbers one through five are reversed, and then after the white horse appears in the spiritual sense, they are in order and work back the other way. I'm going to say that one more time. I believe—and this is supposition to you—that in as much as in the fifth seal we have those already under the altar of God saying, "How much longer, God, before you're going to turn loose and avenge us on Earth?" and then as we work down to the appearance of Antichrist on Earth, they are reversed, and then they turn around and come back the other way after the little horn appears. I'll illustrate. Follow me. Let's take the sixth one again—chapter 6, The Book of Revelation, fifth seal rather, verse 9—and because the sixth seal is Christ's return, all right, you got that. "And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: and they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?" So we still have flesh beings dwelling on earth; we know that the event has not taken place. Let's drop back to the fourth. Let's take them in reverse order and see how they fit today. You'll find it in verse 7. All right, you'll find it in verse 7. "And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see. And I looked, and behold a pale horse"—or that's a grizzled horse, a gray horse, the one that went south, all right—"and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto him over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth." I do not have to tell you what's going on to the south tonight. The south, of course, is Shinar where that basket was set—that wicked city. I don't have to tell you what happened there. You would not believe—as the citizens the Kurds said concerning one of their cities—you would not believe the number of dead that Hussein brought to pass this day, not yesterday, this day. And you would not believe, probably, unless you could see where our bombers had gone, the thousands on top of thousands of dead. And I'm sure that we would be horrified if we could go back ten years when the Kurds—when this war first started with them between Iran and Iraq, Iraq made that attack. Hussein did it, and there have been over a million people in that battle alone. Agaris is a bloody river. And how can innocent people live in that country? Do we need the grizzled horse to go south and find any more death than he can find there today? For heaven's sakes, do we not see that coming to pass today? That is what I'm telling you, what I'm asking you. Yes, of course we do.
Let's go to the third. You'll find it in verse 5. "And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse." Where did the black horse go? Went north. "And he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand. And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine." How many of you in these past weeks, as that nation is changing from communist to a democratic system, have seen the breadlines? And do you know that bread goes up 250% in the next day or two? They have to stand all day to get one loaf of bread, and the shelves are empty. And the balances—the balances that separate the iron from the clay—saying, "Do we go with the communistic way of measuring, or do we go with the democracy way of measuring?" And the people suffer. And do not be surprised if you don't see a civil war there also, for certainly there is a civil war going on today in Iraq. Where did the black horse go? For the scales are having a hard time balancing. Where they're crying, remember what I told you that said, "I work all day for one loaf of bread"? And that's why it's come. Look at Albania, that communist country. Hey, you are to pray for those people every once in a while, you know. I tell you, we are so spoiled in this nation. We are so so protected. I know we have our problems, and I know sometimes we think we have it bad. We love it. There was something I learned as a very young man when in World War II. There were Dutch people that came on the ship I was on and hit the garbage cans and were digging coffee grounds out and eating them, and old crumbs of bread left on our plates they picked off and ate, and just washed the dishes to have the privilege. We are so spoiled. I'm glad God let me see that as a young man, that I could see what trouble was really like, you know, and to know what rough was really what rough really was. And there are some people in this world today that have it rough. The north country—are they our enemies? They're God's children. Their systems are our enemy, if we're going to call anything our enemy. Praise be to God, He has given us the new government. By that I mean there's only one government, friends, and that's the government of Jesus Christ, and He is King of Kings and Lord of Lords, and there shall be no other when He returns. But until that time, there are some people going to hurt, and they are hurting today.
Okay, the grizzly was to the south, and it said that the death was despicable. Check yourself out, friends: since 1980, death has been awesome, too bad to even talk about, the atrocities that that man—that type of Antichrist whose vein has done—to his own people, his own citizens. Only a devil-possessed man cannot care about a decent human being. Let's go on to the next one, so verse 4: "And there went out another horse that was red, and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another." That means civil war. Will that happen in Russia? I don't know; it could sure getting bad. It's already happening in Iraq. "And there was given unto him a great sword." That sword is the opposite of the sword of Jesus Christ; it's Satan's one world teaching and systems that comes out into deception. And then what is the next in order? "And I saw, and behold a white horse, and he that sat on him had a bow," a fake rainbow, making him look like King—Antichrist, the little horn. Reverse that back again after that, only take it in the spiritual sense, and you've got it right on the line: north country and the south country. Is it not ironic—is it not ironic—that that's also the two geographical locations of Haman, Gog, and Armageddon? And I think that those scriptures have a double meaning: one to the deadly wounds, and secondly to Armageddon and Haman and Gog. You're living in an interesting time. Where would you say—and this is speculation—that the deadly wound would happen? The four spirits tell me that they will be caused by events that shall transpire in Russia and in the Middle East, in those two geographical areas. The deadly wound will be brought about. When? When I look at that backplay of the seals and see what's already happening, I would say you better be ready. I would say you better be awake. It could happen anytime. And what would that mean exactly? Tell me what it would really mean for the deadly wound to happen. As soon as it happens, the dragon heals it. He makes a perfect world government as far as his man is concerned, and he returns as Jesus to say, "I've come to fly you away." How many churches will believe that? You see, it's really sad. It hurts when you know how many people have gone—have churched themselves all their lives, have stood in pews, and they've listened to men preach about flying away: "Don't study God's word, just love Jesus and be ready to go. Don't worry about Revelation because you're going to be gone." Oh, they're going to be gone. [Music] All right. Boy, are they going to be gone. And they're our own relatives, beloved. They're our own kin. Pray for them, love them. As it is written in Mark 13, they'll even deliver you up to the one on the white horse. But you're tough people; your can-do type people. You can handle it. As a matter of fact, isn't that what we train for? To serve the Lord Jesus Christ. If that's what He wants? No problem. He's got the wing out, and He's ready to protect us. The black horse to the north that conquers and brings to peace and starts rolling that deadly wound; the grizzly or the pale to the south, to the Persian Gulf and on to Jerusalem—who always watch Jerusalem. And with those two geographical locations, I'm telling you to watch. This all may be a type, and the Lord may delay and we may have years to go, but I wouldn't bet on it. I sure wouldn't bet on it. The parable of the fig tree: "This generation shall not pass away until all these things be fulfilled." The generation in relationship to the parable of the fig tree was planted in the year 1948. There are people in this room many that weren't even living in 1948. So we're getting a little gray hair on those that were born. And I'm not... I beg you, I'm not trying to frighten anyone. If that seems urgent to you, I'm just saying you're a watchman. Watch, man, watch.
A short recap: We picked up the four winds from the Book of Daniel to get the chronological order of events as to the appearance of Antichrist. Then we took those same four winds from the book of Zechariah and saw the play there that even goes into more detail. If we were to complete the book of Zechariah and that great 14th chapter, along about the first, second, third, or fourth verse, we see Jesus Christ; we see His feet touch the Mount of Olives and it splits that mountain in two, and Jerusalem—Zion—is cleansed, and He reigns for a millennium, and you are His servants there. It's all in order. All I ask: check it out for yourself.
Heavenly Father, we thank You, Father, for Your written word. We thank You, Father, for Your prophecies given that we should try to understand, that we should pray over, that we should watch. And Father, I would ask that You touch the minds, and if it be so, sharpen enough as watchmen in use, Father, this family to Thy honor and to Thy glory. Thy gifts, Father, are Thine, and as they work through...
