⚠️📡✞ Current Events 🗓️–2014:

It is a wonderful thing when we know how. How did the shepherds find the Lord Jesus Christ? By a star. A star guided them. And if you are one of God's elect, you're a shepherd of the people; you better be able to read the signs. And certainly, as we know from Genesis chapter 1, the stars in the heavens were given for signs. And I would highly recommend—as Doug will have in a little paper here I'll draw from in a moment—Witness of the Stars,* which we have in our library by an excellent scholar. And it's not to tell fortunes; it's for signs in the heavens that mean something.

The thing I would want you to know is there are four comets in view right now in weird places. That's very unusual. So let's start by determining: what does "four" signify? It's earth: north, east, southwest, south, west—spring, summer, fall, winter—always by four. So it's a sign to Earth: something's going on, something's happening, for you to have that many comets in sight. And one of them is leaving a fantastic trail to be remembered.

We had a fantastic sign—and probably this is the clue to you understanding what's going on—last year here, there was an asteroid or a comet that broke up and destroyed most of a Russian city. I mean, it just wiped her out. Now, did man do that? No, man didn't. God did it. It was a natural event, and He is supernatural. And certainly that should bring some Bible prophecies to your mind in knowing that God's not happy with Russia. Why? They're atheists—basically not all the people, but the nation itself is socialistic communism. And unfortunately it would seem that some people are trying to drive America to that. It's not going to work. But that's your clue to understanding what happened at that place.

Meanwhile, in the year of our Lord, in the 1980s, NASA flew by Saturn, and there was a perfect hexagonal storm. What's a hexagon? Six sides. And of course Saturn, as Amos tells us, is Satan's planet 👿🪐🟰✡️. How in the world can you have a storm that's six-sided? On Earth, it's either a high or a low, and it's a circle. But here you have—and we had a flyby the other day, 20 years later—the hexagon; it is still there. Satan is marked, and certainly it was brought to attention so we would know. So we have signs, and certainly six on Saturn bring many scriptures to light.

Now, Doug has done a little paper, which I'm going to read from, and we're going to talk about Comet ISON, I-S-O-N, formerly known as C/2012 S1. "C" is a designator that means it's going to be back. "F" means it's lost, or "L" rather means it's lost if it receives that number. It was discovered on September the 21st, 2012, by two Russian astronomers—that would be Bautelli, Nevski, and Artyom Novichonok—using a telescope at the International Scientific Optical Network (ISON) near Kislovodsk, Russia. So it would seem God points signs out with warnings to some people. And September 21st in Russia is within a day of the fall or autumn equinox, which in turn is very close to the date of the actual birth of Jesus Christ in Bethlehem. We know this from our study on Christmas.

So the name ISON may be significant, yet very few on Earth could see it—useless unless they have eyes to see. So from Comet ISON's discovery, it was projected that ISON would come very close to our sun on November the 28th, 2013. But for that close encounter, ISON would traverse several constellations on dates and in ways that heralded its coming and potentially represented the beginning of the fulfillment of the prophecies of Luke 21:25: *"There shall be signs in the sun and in the moon and in the stars, and upon the earth distress of nations in perplexity, the sea and waves roaring, men's hearts failing them for fear and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. "* The time of Satan's casting out of heaven is coming closer—how close we don't know—but we read signs, and the signs indicate something's happening very definitely.

There is something all Christians should be aware of: the constellations. When we speak of a zodiac sign, say Aquarius, we are speaking of the sun being in that sign. Interestingly, when the sun is in a sign, it is daytime and the constellation itself cannot be seen. The zodiac signs are not the same as the grossly inaccurate astrology signs; you do not tell fortunes by them. And certainly again I would say I highly recommend our *Witness of the Stars*.

So beginning on December the 27th, 2012, the ISON comet was just north of the constellation Gemini—meaning "Messiah reigns as the Prince of Peace"—close to the bright head stars: Apala (meaning "the ruler") and Pollux (meaning "one who comes to labor or suffer"). The comet, if you could have seen it, appeared to almost stand still and circle Gemini's main stars for months as seen from Earth due to our planet's movement around the sun. This circling continued until about July the 14th, 2013. When it conjoined and seemed to touch the sun while still in Gemini, the ISON comet was seemingly prepared for its now rapid journey into the sun. It went to the sun, and it popped right back out, and it was not destroyed.

Now, why would God send an asteroid to destroy a Russian city? Let's go to Ezekiel chapter 38 in the Father's Word. It is one thing to read the signs — and you should read them — but it's something else to align them with the scripture.

Let's take Ezekiel 38 and let's understand. Verse 1: *"And the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Son of man, set thy face against Gog, the land of Magog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal (Kenites/Cain's offspring—Rev. 2:9), and prophesy against him." "You all know that in the Hebrew tongue, 'chief prince Meshech' is *Rosh*—which was later *Russ* (by the Volga) and then **Russia**. So we're talking definitely about Russia, where a city was about to be wiped off.

And say, "Thus saith the Lord God: Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, the chief prince of Meshech and Tubal. And I will turn thee back and put hooks in thy jaw, and I will bring thee forth and all thine army, horses and horsemen, all of them clothed with all sorts of armor, even a great company with bucklers and shields, all of them handling swords." *Now listen carefully: Who is this army that is with Russia? Persia—or where's Persia? That's Iran. In other words, Iran is with you. Ethiopia—it's upper Africa. Libya—and into the Islamic neighborhood, Islamic Brotherhood, where we lost four brave men. And all of them with shield and helmet: Gomer (possibly Turkey) and all his bands, the house of Togarmah—that's Armenia (In another lecture/study, Pastor Arnold stated he doesn't think it's Armenia). 💭 My thought and belief: Togarmah is Chechnya-Russia (North Caucasus), between Russia and Iran, of the north quarters and all his bands and many people with thee.

Now what brings this to light is that when Syria was where we had to draw a line in the sand (which was never fulfilled), Russia stepped in. They took over the Middle East. It was Russia, Putin, that basically engineered the withdrawal of poison gas and other things in Syria. It was Russia that the Islamic Brotherhood had been furnishing weapons for for years, so Russia's preparing its army. All right. But what I'm telling you is, when you look close, it's already there. The Islamic Brotherhood covers Egypt and everything east. Remember my work on the Euphrates: *Kedem is a Hebrew word that says you go there and look east, and you'll see your enemy; you'll see what's going down. Well, all you got to do is turn on your boob tube (whatever it is), and you'll find out who's in charge. All right, enough.

And you'll see that army. We lost Fallujah yesterday—that's a city in Iraq that we shed a lot of blood taking, and the people there are being taken over again by the Islamic Brotherhood, which is to say, terrorists... So the army is all but put together, my friends. You need to wake up and look. Russia and all of its allies are lined up. Do you realize, with our military weakened the way it is, if we were to have to take on Russia, all of the Middle East, and maybe even China, we wouldn't stand a chance—except for one thing. God said, "I am unhappy with you, Russia." And this is God's doing, that He would annihilate or take over any army they wish to bring against us. So you're living in that time, and that army is taking shape. It's not a pretty sight.

You know something—as an old combat veteran, it would frighten me considerably if I didn't know God was behind it, because we were in North Korea fighting against some great odds, but that's nothing compared to what the odds would be being against Russia and all of the Middle East. The Islamic Brotherhood doesn't have Russia's plan, so there would be a split sometime along there because the Islamics intend to bring Islam to the whole world—and Sharia law. That's their plan. And that's why they'll do whatever Russia says until they come to it. So when you wake up and see what's formulating, it's not a pretty picture. But it's a wonderful feeling when you read a little more of the letter.

Verse 7: *"Be thou prepared, and prepare for thyself, thou and all thy company that are assembled unto thee, and be thou a guard unto them. After many days thou shalt be visited in the latter years. Thou shalt come into the land that is brought back from the sword and is gathered out of many people, against the mountains of Israel, which have been always waste: but it is brought forth out of the nations, and they shall dwell safely, all of them."* So you want to let that sink in: *they shall dwell safely, all of them*. Why? It's a guarantee from our Father. This is where faith really comes in. Regardless of what might be going down, you have the faith to know God has the hammer, and He knows how to use it.

Verse 9: *"Thou shalt ascend and come like a storm; thou shalt be like a cloud to cover the land, thou and all thy bands and many people with thee." Thus saith the Lord God: "It shall also come to pass that at the same time shall things come into thy mind, and thou shalt think an evil thought" (C-19🤔)—it's evil enough the way it is—"and thou shalt say, 'I will go up to the land of unwalled villages'"—that's America—"and I will go to them that are at rest. "*We are one nation that has no walls basically. If you ever traveled outside of this country, there are walls about everywhere. *"They dwell safely, all of them dwelling without walls and having neither bars nor gates. Because the answer is real simple: what is your wall? It's God. It's our Father. He is our wall!

*"To take a spoil and to take a prey; to turn thine hand upon the desolate places that are now inhabited and upon the people that are gathered out of the nations, which have gotten cattle and goods, that dwell in the midst of the land. Sheba and Dedan, and the merchants of Tarshish (elite 💼💰, merchants 🚢🌐, and the money-changers—📈🏦 / ✡ Kenites, the offspring of Cain, the first murderer—Rev. 2:9 / Rev. 13:2— leopard 🐆), with all the young lions thereof (✡ Rev. 2:9 / 3:9 🦁 🤥), shall say unto thee, "Art thou come to take a spoil? "* 💡 Notice they're not at war with them but at peace.

"And thou shalt gather thy company to take a prey, to carry away silver and gold, to take away cattle and goods, to take a great spoil" (Trump—Putin Anchorage, Alaska, summit). *It won't work, but they're going to try it.

Therefore, son of man, prophesy and say unto Gog: *"Thus saith the Lord God: In that day when my people of Israel dwelleth safely, shalt thou not know it? "*You better know it, for we have a wall, and that wall is God. *"And thou shalt come from thy place out of the north parts, thou and many people with thee, all of them riding upon horses, a great company and a mighty army. "* They will be equipped; they will have weaponry. It will look bad. It's going to test your faith when you see this come to pass, and it is approaching. Those armies are forming even at this time.

And you know the sad part about it is we armed most of them. We fought in Iraq and then left a lot of weapons there, and now they're being used against us. Sometimes I wonder just how bright we might be in our leadership—you know, I said "leadership."

*"And thou shalt come up against my people of Israel as a cloud to cover the land"*—that's how heavy they'll be. *"It shall be in the latter days, and I will bring thee against my land, that the heathen may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes. "*That's God's purpose: He's going to strike them. They say there's no God. They're going to find out the hard way. He's very real, and He loves His children—that's you—and He's going to shake them up and rip them off, and boy are they going to have problems.

📖 EZEKIEL 25:14 “And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom (Russian army/Esau's descendants 🇷🇺) by the hand of my people of [true] Israel (🇺🇸➕/✟ Christian nations—Army 🪖); and they shall do in Edom according to my anger and according to my fury (❗AWESOME FURY); and they shall know my vengeance, saith the Lord GOD.” /⚖️🔥).

*"Thus saith the Lord God: Art thou he of whom I have spoken in old time by my servants the prophets of Israel, which prophesied in those days many years that I would bring thee against them?"* Where is that if it was long ago? Well, let's start with Isaiah 25.

Isaiah 25 reads, "O Lord, thou art my God; I will exalt thee; I will praise thy name; for thou hast done wonderful things; thy counsels of old are faithfulness and truth." * You can count on Him; He'll never let you down. Man might; God won't. *"For you have made of a city a heap, of a defended city a ruin, and a palace of strangers to be no city; it shall never be built."* Remember, He notched one on His belt last year—He destroyed one of their cities. *"Therefore shall the strong people glorify thee; the city of the terrible nations shall fear thee. For thou hast been a strength to the poor, a strength to the needy in their distress, a refuge from the storm, and a shadow from the heat when the blast of the terrible ones is as a storm against the wall—and He is that wall.* "Thou shalt bring down the noise of strangers as the heat in a dry place, even the heat with the shadow of a cloud; the branch of the terrible ones shall be brought low." *

And God's going to destroy them. They're going to find out there is a God. That's His whole purpose: why they are His children, and He wishes they would love Him. Will they? Well, we'll find out.

Now, probably He said "long ago," so we got to go back further than that. I want to go back to verse 24—verse 17. Listen very carefully. You remember the ships of Tarshish? Who's at the root? Don't ever take your eyes off that. Let's find out.

Verse 17: *"I shall see him, but not now; I shall behold him, but not nigh. There shall come a star out of Jacob"—that star and signs all over—"and a scepter shall rise out of Israel and shall smite the corners of Moab and destroy all the children of Sheth."* Sheth has no article here; that means all the children of tumult or trouble, like the Brotherhood. *"And Edom shall be a possession"*—that's Rosh, Syria, one of Russia—"also shall be a possession of the enemies, and Israel shall do valiantly. Out of Jacob shall come he that shall have dominion and shall destroy him that remaineth in the city." *

And when he looked on Amalek—that's one of Esau's sons—he took up his parable and said, "Amalek was the first of the nations, but his latter end shall be that he perish forever." * And he looked on the Kenites—do you want to get to the root of the problem? He looked on the Kenites and took up his parable and said, "Strong is thy dwelling place, and thou puttest thy nest in a rock. Nevertheless, the Kenite shall be wasted until Asshur shall carry thee away captive." *

Our Heavenly Father has assured us coming out of the gate that He will protect us and that He will always be with us, and He told us long ago how He would accomplish this. So if there was ever a time you needed to strengthen your faith, it's going to be tested because it's going to look pretty rough. But our Father is a lot rougher. He can cut it. He will lead us, He will guide us, and He will correct the enemy. You can rest assured. And my friends, there you have it: the current events. It's happening before your very eyes. The armies are forming. Is this just a type, or is it the real thing? Well, ease your pack down, take five, relax, get in His Word, and watch. You're a watchman. You're supposed to watch and read those signs. And hey, there's enough to go around. There are signs everywhere.

**Fred from Georgia:** Where in the Bible can I find the verse that says that seven years are shortened to two and three and a half years and shortened to five months?

**Pastor:** Revelation chapter 9. It even tells you it is during the time of the locust, which is May through September. Don't count on that 100% because He comes as a thief, which means you're not going to know for sure. But it does nail it that it is a five-month period. After all, He says in Mark chapter 13, when the false Christ is here and you're delivered up before him, if he had not shortened the days, no flesh should be saved—that's how sharp Satan is. So you want to be prepared for that. Revelation chapter 9 is your answer.

**Franklin from North Carolina:** Where can I find "in the world but not of the world or the things of the world"? Where can I find its location?

**Pastor:** You will find it in St. John, chapter 17, verse 14—one of the most beautiful chapters in God's Word. It's Christ's real prayer to the Father when His work was finished, and He was saying we're not of the world. He wasn't of the world, and neither are we. In this earth age, we're here to do God's work.

**Ronnie from Ohio:** When I speak to other people about Father's Word, how do I say what I have learned from you and the scripture without taking the credit away from the ones that taught me?

**Pastor:** Don't worry about it. No one—you have to give God the credit in the first place, not some man. It is good to have teachers and so forth, but they don't expect you to give them credit for everything you've learned from God's Word. That is God's Holy Spirit that touches you and raises you. So you plant seeds and don't worry about giving credit. Give all credit to the living God, and you'll do just fine.

**Nea from Texas:** As I write this, my mother is lying in her hospital bed beside me, talking out of her head. She has Alzheimer's and is bipolar. Hospice has provided everything she needs, so I have her at home with me. She cannot feed herself or attend to any of her needs. She will not eat or drink enough to sustain her body. I took her to the emergency room again, and the doctor told me that I need to accept that my mom's body is shutting down.

**Pastor:** I know the plot that you're in. You love your mother, but at the same time, there does come a time. I noticed later on you say, "If she were in her right mind, she would say, 'Let me go.'" So you're doing the very best you can. I'm not going to tell you what you should do. You do what clears you with your own conscience. But ask yourself: what would you have her do for you if you were in that position? And you'll be pretty close to home. I know a lot of people have this problem today. You have to know this: when God is ready to take someone, He takes them.

**Nea continues, "Please answer for me: Genesis 6:1-4 — who are the sons of God? "Where were the Nephilim in those days? Some say fallen angels. What is meant by "sons of God," "daughters of men," and "created heroes of the men renowned"?

**Pastor:** The offspring were Nephilim. "Nephilim" comes from the Hebrew prime *"naphal," and "naphal"* means "fallen." They are fallen angels. They refused to be born of woman, but they came and seduced the daughters of Adam. Why? Because Satan knew that through the daughters of Adam would come the Christ child, the Savior. He had attempted before to destroy this through Eve and failed with Cain, but now he tries overall. Only Noah's family still had a perfect generation—meaning they had not mixed with these hybrids. So they are fallen angels. You can read of them again. Why does it say in Jude, along about verse 5 or 6, they're in chains for destruction? They don't have a prayer of a chance because they blew it. Rather than being born from above, they came from above. God will not tolerate that.

**John from California:** There is a verse in the Bible where Jesus says, "This world will pass, but my word will live to eternity." That's all I can remember of the verse, and I think it's in John. Can you help me find it?

**Pastor:** It is not in John. It's in the great book of Mark 13:31. I quoted almost nothing from it earlier. God says many things will come to pass, but God's Word will never change. That's why you never waste your time studying the Word of God—it's eternal. Why? Because it's His Word, not some man's, not something that someone dreamed. It's the living Word.

**Christina from South Carolina:** Where can I find the scripture to help me overcome harsh words from loved ones who tell me I'm being selfish to the donor or that I'll lose my gift of healing if I don't agree to watch other biblical teachings other than Shepherd's Chapel?

**Pastor:** You don't waver. You keep your stand. I understand that you had a transplant. Don't thank Father that you had a donor, and don't worry about the harsh things that are said. God wants you—He opened the Holy of Holies so that you can walk right in. So you've got nothing to worry about; you're doing real good. Congratulations on having the donor.

**Margaret from California:** 1 Corinthians 11:5 says I have to have my head covered or shaved to pray, but 1 Thessalonians 5:28 says pray without ceasing. So with all that, do I have to wear a veil or cover?

**Pastor:** First of all, understand the scripture. Re-read your answer—you'll find in the 10th verse, 1 Corinthians 11:10: "Why do you keep your head covered? Because of the angels." Why? As Christ said in Matthew 24, they're going to be giving and taking in marriage again to the fallen angels just prior to the end. Therefore, what do you keep your head covered with? Not some piece of cloth, not some hat—but Christ. You keep Christ over your head. That's why it would say in a verse or so later, "It's a shame for a man to have long hair"—because it would be perverted if he had an affair with a fallen angel. But you have Christ over your head, and you're going to tell that fallen angel where to put his place—and it'll be in hell. You'll stand up against him and never have to worry about it. God will give you the strength. Again, your answer is in the 10th verse: the reason you have to have your head covered is because of the angels. They're coming back again. Satan and his angels are going to be cast out of heaven—you can read that in Revelation 12:6 and 7.

**Rebecca from North Carolina:** As Deborah was raised up in the Bible and God appointed her to lead the Israelite army instead of a man, is there any documentation as to how and when you know that God is uplifting you and has given you an appointment, and at what point would you know that it is not a male appointment but a female appointment?

**Pastor:** Well, Rebecca, you're a female. If He gives it to you, it's a female appointment. You need to make a note of Acts, chapter 2, and cover it real well. You'll see that when Peter said, "This is that which Joel spoke of"—Joel the prophet—that both my sons and my daughters shall prophesy and lead. Then go to Joel, chapter 2, and find out what they really said. Certainly God does use both male and female—He always has. I know a lot of men will try to put women down. Be that as it may, you'll never hear me do that, because God is not a respecter of persons. If He's going to use somebody, He's going to use them. What about Philip and his four virgin daughters that were prophetesses? And go back to the question just prior to yours, 1 Corinthians, chapter 11—what does it say there? That a woman, before she prophesies, should cover her head. What does "prophesy" mean? To teach. Before she teaches, have Christ over her head.

**Next question (unidentified):** Where in the Bible does it say Abraham had two wives?

**Pastor:** In Genesis chapter 25, verse 1. Sarah had passed away, and so he took a second wife; her name was Keturah. You can read that in Genesis 25:1. Keturah was the mother of Midian, whereby Moses married into a family of Midianites—which means offspring of Abraham that lived in the land of the Kenites. They were not Kenites; they were simply called that by geographical location, such as you live in California and you're a Californian—not by birth but by location. So it was with them. That's how you trigger and find who it really was that Moses married. It certainly was not a Kenite; it was a family of Midianites. Jethro was a priest, so he had to be pure blood, a son of Abraham.

**Georgia from California:** When Jesus went out into the desert, was that really Satan talking to him, or was it his spirit?

**Pastor:** He was in person, de facto. It was a once-and-for-all-time teaching for us that Satan used what to try to persuade Christ? This is important scripture. Satan quoted scripture, I mean, right and left. There's just one problem: most Christians are not even equipped enough to know he twists them. He'll quote that scripture, but he'll twist it right at the end about 90 degrees, where it becomes a lie. This is why the lesson is so important in Matthew, where He was tested in the wilderness for 40 days, to note what scripture He used. Satan is a scripture lawyer, and you want to be prepared for that. Christ put him down on each of them. But he was there in person, just like he will be here in person when he comes as the false Messiah.

**Carla from California:** I want to know where in the Bible I can find "honor thy mother, respect thy mother, and listen to Mother"? I have two sons who are not accepting this.

**Pastor:** You need to tell them to read Exodus chapter 20 — the Ten Commandments. The first commandment that guarantees long life is to honor your mother and father. You receive a long life for that. So I hope that helps you.

**Maria from Arizona:** Could you explain why Jesus cursed the fig tree, seeing that it was not yet the season for figs?

**Pastor:** Because there's good figs and bad figs. When you're learning the parable of the fig tree, and you go to the great book of Jeremiah, you find there are some figs that are so good and others that are just not fit to eat. That's why Christ cursed them. He knew it was not time, but He did it to document that the fig tree generation is whereby it would be the final generation and all prophecies—I'm quoting from Mark 13—would come to pass in that particular time. That is to say, the generation of the fig tree. That generation started in the year of our Lord 1948.

**Keith (location unknown):** What does "amen" mean?

**Pastor:** "Amen" means "that's that." That's why when you finish delivering a message and you say "Amen," you say, "That's that." In other words, you don't argue with God's Word; you accept it, period, end of story. That's what it means — not in a derogatory sense, but as a fact. That's the way it is; it's not going to be any different.

**Jan from Tennessee:** Where in the Bible does it say that if you do premeditated murder, they are to be killed and sent to the Father?

**Pastor:** There's more than one place. Deuteronomy chapter 19 is a good starting place. But first, you have to be very careful when dealing with God's law. You have to understand the difference between a crime of passion—which is a form of insanity; jealousy and rage can cause one to actually be, in a sense, insane for a moment—and that's a crime of passion. That is not to lie and wait just because you hate someone and kill them. That's what we're talking about here: someone that just destroys a life for the sake of destroying it. Then God says, "When you've got two witnesses identifying them, then you don't give them a trial on Earth; you execute them." As a matter of fact, if it was a 12-year-old girl and some guy molested and murdered her, the father gets to cast the first stone—the father of the daughter. But He said, "I don't want you to feel bad about any of this, because it isn't you that does it, but I have ordered it. It is I that do it." And the reason being, others will see—this is to be done publicly—others will see, and these things will cease happening among you. So God does teach capital punishment. Another place for a double witness is Numbers chapter 35—it will give you the same message: if they premeditate, send them to Me; I'll do the judging. And ultimately He shall anyway. That's the way it shall be.

**Dan from Iowa:** I did not understand where you said that the tribulation would last five months. Please explain. I'm used to the tribulation being three and a half or seven years before the rapture takes place—when the Lord comes back and takes His children out.

**Pastor:** Well, He doesn't do that until the seventh trumpet, and you've still got the sixth trumpet to make it through. But you'll find it in Revelation chapter 9. And the next is, to be absent from this body is to be present with the Lord. So God loves His children; He doesn't want them out here in some hole in the ground. The flesh does go into the ground—it's dust to dust—but your spiritual body returns to the Father. You see, we have two bodies. If you're 9 years old, you can read from verse 35 to the end of 1 Corinthians 15 and recognize you've got two bodies: the flesh body and the spiritual body.

**Judith from South Carolina:** My wife and I would like to know: do Adam and Eve have a chance to be forgiven for their sins, even though Jesus hadn't been born yet?

**Pastor:** That's a good question and a fair one. But we discussed that in today's lecture: God is not a respecter of persons. So when you read 1 Peter 3:18-19, you find out that when He went to Paradise, He went to all those people and preached to them and gave them the opportunity to accept Him—that is to say, Christ as Savior—and many, many of them did. So yes, Adam and Eve had that opportunity.

**Lyn from Texas:** I would like to know: was the sixth-day creation alive when the eighth-day creation was made?

**Pastor:** Of course they were.

**Lyn:** Did they live at the same time on the planet Earth?

**Pastor:** Absolutely. They're the different races. That's very—God created all the races, and He looked, and it was good. He was happy with them; that's why He made them as they are, because it was good. You can read the last verse of the first chapter. Some of the people He made fishermen; He made some hunters on the sixth day of creation, and then He made a farmer on the eighth day.

**Willie from Georgia:** Am I right with the Lord because I can't read the Bible?

**Pastor:** Well, if you love Him, not having the ability to read the Bible doesn't have anything at all to do with the condition of your soul. If you love the Lord, this is why God sends teachers: so that if a person has a problem—you know, many people in all the years I've been teaching on television have told me they learned to read watching this telecast and the scripture that comes on the screen. But that's beside the point. The point is, do you love Him, and do you hear the truth, and can you discern it when you hear it? So keep hanging in there; you're going to do all right.

**Karen from Iowa:** How can I keep my 11-year-old interested in the Word of God? He gets distracted so easily by things.

**Pastor:** The kids are distracted by everything. You've got to make it interesting for him and make it exciting. The Word of God is exciting. There are stories that an 11-year-old can really get into in God's Word—the different conflicts and the prophecy that is yet to come to pass. Prophecy usually will catch them, especially like in the New Testament, prophecy being the Book of Revelation. It's so exciting when you have a proper teacher teaching that book. Revelation—let the little fella know the word means (I don't care what language you say it in) "the unveiling, to make it known." "So it should be made known to him as well. And a boy is going to have different interests than you anyway; you've got to cut a little slack along the way.

**Joel from Florida:** My question is for all of the people in the world that have never heard of Jesus: how will they be judged? Thank you.

**Pastor:** Well, that's what the Millennium is about. That's the Lord's day, wherein a day with the Lord is a thousand years of our time. And we know from Revelation 20:5 that God's elect are priests with Him for that thousand years. What do priests do? They teach and they share truth. In other words, you can look at this in two ways. God is never a respecter of persons. If He chose His elect in the first earth age, what body were they in? Spiritual — no hang-ups of the flesh. So what body are they in in the Millennium when they're taught? Spiritual — no hang-ups in the flesh. So God is always fair. Maybe that'll give you some food for thought.

**Paul from California:** When it says "time, times, and half a time" in the Bible, how long of a time is this? Is the word "time" considered a year of actual time?

**Pastor:** Yeah, it's three and a half years. Now you take that same three and a half years and you read Revelation 13:4—it'll say "42 months." "What is that? 42 months applied to Satan, because his time is always given in moons—that's three and a half years also, shortened a little bit because moons are not a full 30-day period.

**John from Michigan:** I know God's good grace is to show us undeserved favor and that He forgives us for all of our sins when we have a true change of heart and repent in Christ's name. But is it a sin to try to earn His forgiveness, even though you know He has forgiven you, but you still want to show Him through your actions how truly sorry you are for embarrassing Him before the accuser?

**Pastor:** No, there's nothing wrong with striving. That's the battle we fight. But don't pass off His gift as something you have to earn. He would rather that you want Him to earn your trust—that He can trust you, not with repentance. He may not like that, but you want to earn trust.
